Regarding RuneQuest's Apple Lane, does anyone know how to distinguish the 1978 & 1979 editions? I know that the NPC lists are different, & probably the stats as well, but I'm not sure about the specifics.

Anyone ever seen a genuine copy of Dragon Pass Conventions? An OCR'd PDF is available at boardgamegeek, but does anyone know what the original looked like? Was it a legal-paper-sized digest like other CHAOSium publications of the time? Was there a color cover, or were there any other differences from the PDF?

I have my Apple Lane handy... it is a Chaosium printing that says copyright 1978, but I have no other copy to compare it too... I would be happy to answer questions or upload an image, if that's helpful?

rpg.net seems to have good info.  Click on each edition for the details:

Areas of interest/knowledge: Harn, WFRP, Ars Magica, anything BRP based such as CoC, Runequest, Pendragon and all their related games

Thanks, the rpgnet info should work. I just looked at those pages yesterday, but only so far as to notice how the covers are the same for each edition.
