...is that some kind of rare/sought for book? I know, know, the premise of the Virus is quite unlikely in scientific terms, but we are talking science fiction here right?  :P

I think this one was a book that was more sought after years ago and sold for higher prices.  Now, it doesn't seem so sought after and sells for a price similar to the other books.

Amazon lists this one for at minimum, $36.49.

Valuewise, $30 is reasonable, $40 is doable, but anything above that is crazy.

That's amazon for ya.  The last couple I watched (sold by Hamilcar) were in new old stock shape and ended up selling in the $10-$15 range in open auctions on Ebay.

EDIT:  The last one he sold went for $11.05

Well the valuations I actually got from the knowledgeable guys at CotI. But...it is TNE and TNE isn't the most popular edition of Traveller.
