What do you think about this game?

Anyone has ever played it? Opinions?

One of the numerous generic fantasy RPGs. For me it worth collecting it, but not playing. Nothing really new or interesting (highly copied from D&D)

Adventures in Austerion : a fantasy RPG, with boardgame mechanisms and modular battlemap. By Guillaume Tavernier and Géraud G.

I have only flipped through the pages but not read it to give any kind of critique as to its playability. It did appear to be similar to many of the fantasy games of that time, which is either good or bad.

I used to own a copy, actually - it was being given away at a gaming convention a number of years ago. Ended up selling it on eBay, I think.

My recollection is that the rules had some elements of D&D and a few other systems - a few TFT aspects were most obvious to me. The art was not great, though much better than OD&D LBB or Greyhawk.

I dunno, I didn't see much point in hanging on to it, but again from a collector's standpoint it might be interesting. Don't think I'd pay $60 for it, though...

$60?  I thought I just looked at the NK copy and it was $40 or $45 last week.  The extra copies I have picked up I generally sell in the $30 range.
