Check out what these are going for on ebay, I'd recommend, before trading it off. I haven't followed these sales in awhile but Middle Earth with Sauron and Gongor mini-games used to command a decent price and was easy to sell.

Thanks. I will probably keep it now since I am a huge LOTR fan.

I found both Sauron and Gondor to be an immense amount of fun. I know I have played them about ten times as much as the main game.

Needless to say, if you're interested in selling, please post here first. I'm certain you'll get some offers... myself included. =)

As I hinted at recently, I've picked up a few pretty good items recently...

NIce! :D

Tales of Terror 2 is probably the final Pagan book I need (along with Sosostris, one of Tynes' King in Yellow stories from Armitage).

I recently came across a reasonably priced, complete box of Ultima IX: Dragon Edition on eBay. It's been years since I sold off my Ultima I - VII (never had VIII) games, some of which were for platforms I no longer own :), and I've been jonesing to relive the saga from scratch for about half a decade. I'm skipping Akalabeth (I'm only so masochistic), but just created my character for Ultima I, a hobbit :) (somebody weren't skeered of the big bad Tolkien Estate, even as late as '80). Long live Lord British!

$49.99 for this FIRST print Tegel Manor.
Complete with the Character Sheet, Booklet L, the large Judges Map and the smaller map.
I was the only bidder...  and got it at the starting bid.  :D
The booklet is in near pristine condition as are the rest of the items in the lot (the 1st print single sided character sheet does have that fold on one side).

It is not as if this listing was unnoticed as it was an amandadub listing, whose auctions have been HEAVILY bid on by many Acaeum members and other RPG collectors.

From this listing and others I have noted the prices for Tegel Manor are WAY DOWN; even so, for a First Print to sell for that amount is very surprising.
Not that I am complaining about getting it this cheap of course.

That's a fantastic pick up, congrats!

$50-70 this year so far, last quarter of 2011 they were $25-100, that is counting all the various printings.

Would those prices be complete with the character sheet?  The last ones I saw were missing it - don't follow them closely enough but I'd imagine they get separated from the module pretty easily.

The likes of
** expired/removed eBay auction **
, pencil writing and all, didn't seem all that cheap anyhow.
Was it ever clarified where those previous $3 prices across the 2nd-4th prints came from, btw? http://web.archive.org/web/200902281854 ... yCode.html

I bought my blue copy out of a pile of cast-off modules in a computer game store for $5 in 1991.

NICE...

Even though this copy is a little bug munched, I do not understand how this one got past the FBI/T&T collectors.

The last one I recall seeing on e-Bay sold for close to $200 and it was not in much better shape than the copy above that sold for the opening price of $4.95

It arrived this afternoon.
Almost Mint in the Original Shrink Wrap.
Slight dink at top corner of the map that sticks out of the module (I noticed that issue in the e-Bay photo).
Since the map is bigger in all directions than the module, this is no shocker at all... even in the SW.
Otherwise; all the crinkling you see is from the shrink wrap, not the contents.
Even after surviving an overseas journey... not a single spine crease.
Staples are totally clean (outside anyway, and I am not opening it up to look inside).
Some think I overpaid and as I said in another thread, perhaps so...
But I have absolutely zero regret about acquiring this sweet item whatsoever.
Very happy collector here. :D
So... who wants one of my other copies now?
Or should I mail this copy to Frank and ask him to resell it for me?
