Opened the door last night to go check the mail and there was a box from Brave Halfling waiting, so I opened it and there was a White Box edition of Swords and Wizardry. Its nice having friends. Thanks again, John!

Received Hidden Kingdom (1983, rare one-hit-wonder Arthurian FRP from New Rules Inc.) from seller jump469.

Near-mint condition, superbly packaged to maintain same. Awesomely complete. And jump469 gives feedback when he ships instead of weasely waiting to see what the buyer gives.

If you're getting into the Grenadiers or the BECMI boxes, bid with confidence. Apparently the late father's collection, kept in sweet shape.

ps: woulda missed this 'cept for LokiWookie's heads-up. I owe ya one. Be sure you collect. ;>

Indeed it it a very nice item. I never played HK but if you do, I will be interested to know how it works.

The supplement is a really HTF item. I remember seeing only one for sale on ebay (and it sold for cheap considering it was included with the game in the auction). I spoke to one of the authors who had several copies left but I didn't manage to get a copy :/ I need to email him again :)

Just got a copy of ICE's Lord of the Rings Adventure Game (sort of 'MERP-lite'). Finally found a beautiful uncut copy at a decent price, after looking for a long time (albeit sporadically):

Very happy to receive today all published material for Recon RPG 1st ed.:

- Rules book
- MD's Screen
- Sayaret
- Hearts & Mind
- The Haiphong H.a.l.o.
- San Succi Play Aid (never seen one before)

These are not in excellent condition, but San Succi and Haiphong are rather HTF, so I am not very selective.

Wowza!  That's a great find, NMilty!

Along those same lines (although not quite the same magnitude, alas :D ), I just picked up a gently used Horror on the Orient Express for $65.

Nice find for you as well on the Horror on the Orient Express!!

Does anyone know if that box set originally came with factory shrinkwrap?  I saw a copy advertised recently as still in shrink and I wanted to see if it was legit.

Not exactly a "find" so much as an "excavation," but while cleaning out some old boxes, I chanced across my old copy of Dinky Dungeons.  Lots of fond memories of that game!

I don't know for certain, but it seems likely.  Chaosium's earlier boxed sets were shrinked, so I don't see why that one wouldn't be.

Finally received a few recent acquisitions:

The World of Silverdawn
Long Live the King
The Village of Peddler's Ferry
Bavenlon:  Danger in the Dark Forest (missing the cover, unfortunately)
Search for the Crystal Sword
The Plateau -- Capital of Evil
Society of Sorcery

and . . .

The Tombs of Valla

:D

Definitely reduced the old want list.  Still looking for a City of Valla, so if anyone has a spare copy about . . . .

Sure, I got a few just laying about.  I think I'm using one for a coaster.

It's been a while since I was jazzed about some pick-ups.  It's a nice feeling.

Generally, they're all in excellent or better condition.  In the Valla, someone used some green highlighter on a couple lines on pages 4 and 5.  Otherwise, both the booklet and the maps are very clean, the corners very sharp and the binding tight.  Frankly, except for the highlighting, it's pretty close to near mint.  The Silverdawn booklet is in great shape, though the map has some minor dirt and is a bit torn along the folds.  The Bavenlon is missing its cover (though I have a copy), and the cover on The Plateau is split below the bottom staple.  But all in all, very minor issues.

Ah, pictures.  The wife and two of the kids left yesterday on vacation (oldest son and I are to join them later this week).  She took the cameras with her.  So when we get back, I'll take a few pics and post them.
