Have you read the Robert Chambers anthology? It is an absolutely amazing bit of pre-Lovecraft fiction. Chambers was a prolific writer but he wrote popular crap of the most part. The King in Yellow is a major derivation from his usual work and it shows an untapped talent that was never really developed. If he had written half as much as his total output in the King in Yellow style I think we would see just about as many fans of Chambers as we do of Lovecraft.

Just bought Talisman second edition in a charity shop for £2.
On opening turns out to include the Dungeon, Dragons, and City expansions.

$$$$$  Ahhh... no boxes but still... $$$$$

The Dragons expansion set at Gencon sold for about $100.00

Very nice.

Opened the door last night to go check the mail and there was a box from Brave Halfling waiting, so I opened it and there was a White Box edition of Swords and Wizardry. Its nice having friends. Thanks again, John!

Received Hidden Kingdom (1983, rare one-hit-wonder Arthurian FRP from New Rules Inc.) from seller jump469.

Near-mint condition, superbly packaged to maintain same. Awesomely complete. And jump469 gives feedback when he ships instead of weasely waiting to see what the buyer gives.

If you're getting into the Grenadiers or the BECMI boxes, bid with confidence. Apparently the late father's collection, kept in sweet shape.

ps: woulda missed this 'cept for LokiWookie's heads-up. I owe ya one. Be sure you collect. ;>

Indeed it it a very nice item. I never played HK but if you do, I will be interested to know how it works.

The supplement is a really HTF item. I remember seeing only one for sale on ebay (and it sold for cheap considering it was included with the game in the auction). I spoke to one of the authors who had several copies left but I didn't manage to get a copy :/ I need to email him again :)

Just got a copy of ICE's Lord of the Rings Adventure Game (sort of 'MERP-lite'). Finally found a beautiful uncut copy at a decent price, after looking for a long time (albeit sporadically):

Very happy to receive today all published material for Recon RPG 1st ed.:

- Rules book
- MD's Screen
- Sayaret
- Hearts & Mind
- The Haiphong H.a.l.o.
- San Succi Play Aid (never seen one before)

These are not in excellent condition, but San Succi and Haiphong are rather HTF, so I am not very selective.

Wowza!  That's a great find, NMilty!

Along those same lines (although not quite the same magnitude, alas :D ), I just picked up a gently used Horror on the Orient Express for $65.

Nice find for you as well on the Horror on the Orient Express!!

Does anyone know if that box set originally came with factory shrinkwrap?  I saw a copy advertised recently as still in shrink and I wanted to see if it was legit.
