I didn't find it on Acaeum subweb but perhaps it is listed in another product?
Here is a scan:

Could you provide me with a bigger scan by chance?  The only thing similar is the one from the Initial Package. http://www.acaeum.com/jg/InitialPackage.html
With this having Tegel at $5 then changed is interesting too.

Glad if this can help.

Do you think it could be a subscription card from 1978 instead of 77? Just before the revised version of CSotIO?

Every indicator would suggest 1977, especially with Tegel having a price indicated at $5 when these were printed (unless that was a mistake). I don't know when the Initial Package was discontinued either but that would be a time indicator.  From the Initial Package advert sheet we can guess this one is after Sept 30th 1977? And with the Judges Guild 1977 catalog having Tac Cards at 140 cards would place this before Dec?

Got this in the mail: "Monster Guide" by Adventures Guild. It is a monster collection (and a few spells) for Advanced Dungeons & Dragons . Never heard of it before and I cannot find any informations on the internet. In mint condition, and from 1983.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

Yes, and very surprised by the ending price too :)

If anyone has some informations about this small press and other products from them, it would be very interesting. I can't find any information  :(
In the forewords they mentionned that there will be new releases...

I found a Jackie D Stephens in white pages but not in the same place.

Lokiwookie,

That's a very nice find.  Good work.  Hope you can find out more about it.

I picked up a nice haul of Grenadier boxed sets...and some old DragonTooth minis to boot! Still can't believe it only went for $52 :)

You were fortunate that I won three, count 'em, three large sets of Reaper paints in one swell foop (was expecting one at best)... which drained my PayPal account. Otherwise, I was watching that auction as well. :D

Am getting into the painting thing again after 10 years or so, and I needed new paints. I think I may have near the entire line of standard colors, at a 45% discount from retail.

Just waiting for them to show up.  :D

A good old fashioned fun find... I was on a road trip to Ottawa and found these in the local old-time game store (dating back to the early 80s at least!)... a small-press Canadian D20 adventure - I love the Maple Leaf on the back cover, not enough of those in our hobby :)

I draw the line at collecting... D&D beach towels.

Shoulda been: ".. from Pangreenia to Floratopolis, from mystical Treeonia of spectral Forests to Schruborial dimensions." - The Forests of Leng

Yes, I wish the rest of the series was finished but still a good Canadian small press book.  Did you go to Fandom II downtown - I can't think of any older gamestores in Ottawa.  I've bought some good stuff from there a few years back.  They have been around since the 70s and strong supports of CanGames and The Apprentice fanzine, etc.  One of the whiteboxes and 1st print DMG && PH I have came from a guy who grew up in Ottawa and bought them from there.

Yes it was Fandom II... lots of wargame stuff & Warhammer, along with the rpgs... I was talking to the owner - he mentioned the boxes & boxes of books he's got tucked away in the basement... I couldn't talk him into bringing them up     Maybe next time...

I haven't managed to get him to bring them up yet either :(  So it is just becoming the Dragon's Hoard while I wonder what is there - CanGames tourney mods and programs, early fanzines, etc.

Hey David,

Can you pass me the address and contact information for the store?
I should be in Ottawa by October 8th (well Kanata actually).

So I might have time to swing by and check that place out. :)

Maybe I could convince him to let me help him bring his boxes up. :)

Best regards,
Ronald
