My magazine/zine list is the next thing I want to concentrate on.. art has been taking up huge amounts of my $$ and my want list is down to a lot of hard ones.. need to track some down..

Hey all, i recently won a C&C collectors boxed set for an ordinary price and... i found in each booklet 4 signatures of the authors and a small "6/300" below the signatures... this makes me think i got a copy of the "spartan print run": http://www.nobleknight.com/ProductDetai ... GenreID_E_

...is that correct? in case, is the NK price close to reality?

Yes, it is one of the 300 signed print run, but sadly no, the price is a fantasy. I sold a couple of these a year ago at around 30-40GBP, about twice the price of the unsigned edition. On a good day, you may be able to get US$75. I've not seen a signed copy on eBay in a while, but you may be able to close a private deal in the classifieds on Dragonsfoot or over on the TLG Forum.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

Apparently someone liked that price (Whatever it was) as it is no longer there.

Anyone who wants one of the Dune RPG books should check out Half Price Books in Tacoma, Washington.

Behind the front counter they have one of the books...new...for $250

I suspect that price may have come from reading prices on Amazon.

GM serie is really a must-have for non-TSR collectors. Great products.

And a good price indeed.

In very nice shape.  I'm looking forward to reading the section on Warlock.  But at the end, there's a game reviews section.  I think my favorite (excerpts only) is:

Greyhawk $5.00, produced by Tactical Studies Rules.  Written by Gygax and Kuntz.

This rulebook is actually quite useful, if a bit overpriced.  It attempts to iron out some of the errors and inconsistencies in the original Dungeons and Dragons rules and add quite a few new ideas.  Some of the new ideas are incompatible, and there are still quite a few errors . . .

Greyhawk is an excellent source of ideas, and is actually almost worth the price. . . .

Not quite worth five bucks, eh?

I was inventorying some boxed sets to sell and in Village Paths, I found a copy of The Black Vial. Currently I'm on pretty heavy doses of Percocet, so I have the IQ of an amoeba. However, I believe I recall this little booklet being worth a bit. Not so? It's a 1982 publication, mint.

If you hit a Rowsdower, you get to keep it.

I finally found a copy of CSotIO Playing Aid complete and for a very good price. I am astonished that it is in mint condition and in original ziplock. No flaws. Only the cover sheets which is folded.

Great find. That paricular edition of CSIO is one of my all time favourite's with all it's seperate bits. Looks complete and in pretty minty condition. Only a little creasing to the coversheet, which is not surprising given the weight of the book and it being smaller than the coversheet itself.
