I could not believe my half-hearted bid won this item.

I only bid to keep track and on the WAY OFF chance that no one else saw this listed, or those that did were not really wanting it.

Also purchased another item from the same seller.

I had been looking for and bidding on them for years, and I think this one ws obtained at a decent price.

I was fully expecting to loose this item as my high bid was barely over the final price.

Thanks. Yeah, I almost felt bad, so I just paid the entire shipping cost without asking for combined shipping. At least it's a couple extra bucks in the guy's pocket. I'm hoping he'll post a few more Jorune things, as I doubt this was all he had. I don't seem to be able to find a way to tell when exactly the auctions were initiated (eBay changes I guess), but I know it was today, as I check Jorune stuff daily :).

EDIT: LOL, sure enough, he's still posting things, and now the prices have risen slightly :). Someone else can have this one. Sholari Guide, presumably the rest of the boxed set will follow sans box:

In this case, it will go to a good home :)
I am pleased that you got it.

I was thinking that more people would have been interested and bid. This is the first copy of this edition I see for sale.

Nice win.

i saw it, and in fact made a faro-like oblique reference to it in another thread, but it's not frp, so i wasn't going to ruin someone else's day with a bid....

Nice pick up. I've never seen those go for such a low price.

Bizarrely low price.

Might have something to do with way the seller set up the shipping details.  I would have assumed that he only ships to Australia since the shipping calculator doesnt allow for any other countries and it states on the right side under Item Info that he only posts to Australia.  You have to read all the way down towards the bottom of the description that he will ship to other locations.  Most people dont read that far if they dont think they have a reason to.

Regardless....nice win.

No, you should not

I was thinking that my bid will be enough. It seems that Brette wanted it more than I  ;)

With a fair amount of money currently in my Paypal account, I probably would have dropped a $200 bid on it - not sure it would have been enough.  Still nice to see what it looks like and to see that print exists.
