They are good resellables.  I've picked up 4 copies (3 complete and in nice shape - a couple with expansions).  Heroquest sells much better than the Axis and Aliies, Shogun, Fortress America type games that I also pick up when I find them cheap.

Hey, I loved the fact he had the cajones to ask for a discount when $10 was the steal of the century.....

I've heard rumors that Goodwill has gotten out of the board game business. Or is that just around here? I'm looking for Expansions for my Heros Quest game and having a hard time finding any of the others aside from the two I already own - Return of the Witch Lord and Kellar's Keep.

Speaking of.. seriously!? ->

Barbarian and Elf quests sell for good money. But this price is just insane...

I received my Booty and the Beasts. I really enjoy this book, full of weird monsters, and great Otus illustrations. And I guess that i got it for a pretty decent price.

I thought $10 was worth it just for the base game (the furniture and figs are decent fodder for RPG uses)...having both expansions makes it more than worth it. Haven't checked in a few months, but all 3 were selling (as a package) on feebay for around $200 in the condition I have...

...as far as goodwill stores, there aren't any in my area (although we do have Salvation Army stores)...

...for other board games (A&A, Shogun, etc)...they sell very poorly, picked up an extra copy of A&A complete for $1...

OMG!

I read the title and thought, well it looks like everything is there.

So, its only about 9.3 k off on the price.

Then I read the description.

JUST EMPTY BOXES!   8O

Well, my Pegasus #1 arrived. It had some other stuff inside, things I didn't know about or want... nothing spectacular, I guess:

Excalibur Comic Book (says its from Feb 86)

Marvin Freeman Topps baseball card

"Halcyon Daze" card -- some kind of political card set I guess?

Jawless Fish card -- no idea what the hell this came from...

So, if anyone wants any of this stuff, let me know. I think I'll trash it.

Let Goodwill or another thrift store deal with it.  Or include them in books that you sell/trade/donate.  Spread the joy.  :)

Character Codex 1st Print; Probably valued at about $40 (+/-) been trying to get one for YEARS... never have seen a copy sell for under $35.
Not saying it has not happened, just have not seen it myself.

Citadel of Fire 1st/2nd Print ($20 +/-) not that rare, but my first copy...

Some other book I never IDed between them in the single picture.

First print M&T Set One, Plus at least one other of the M&Ts in the binder (I figure all three sets are there).

A DM Screen  Maybe $10...

A Bunch of miscelaneous papers, including some yellow sheets that probably would belong with a 1st Print set for SCIO (see below).

At least nine JG Maps, most (if not all) of them SHOULD have gone with the other listing from the same seller that ended 2 hours earlier.
(I bid on it too, but not enough)
That one had the City Book for CSIO (1st Print), Booklet J (Thunderhold), Booklet I and a Greyhawk book.

** expired/removed eBay auction **

Should list this one under the one that got away... Sighs...  :?

I was the 2nd bidder on the lot with the Codex. Nice price indeed. I should have bid higher :(

Bolded: Photocopy of the adventure in Dragon #78.  I think I have this and other photcopies from Dragon magazine in a lot I got years ago.

The yellow sheets I believe are the Judges Shield or at least 2 panels of it.

Could be a good price if the same person bought both lots and correctly sorted things out.

yes, that was what I was trying for....
But I had to leave for a while and got back moments after the first listing ended.
Was first looser on that one.

However, I have copies of every book in that first lot anyway. 8)
