i received vikings & valkyrs today. volume 1 is characters, skills and spells. volume 2 is listed as combat, runes and songs of power. volume 3 is a future publication which was to be volume 3: monsters & treasures of middle earth.

of further interest is that in the list of current products is Order of St. Talis. there is of course listed in Heroic Worlds (page 172) an Order of St. Talis by Zeppelin Publications. one has to wonder whether these are one and the same.

Yes, Vikings & Valkyrs is by one of the authors who made up Zeppelin Publications.  They also produced Archives Arcane and had the Zeppelin fanzine as well as Order of St Talis.

Volume 2 of V&V is similar in format to volume 1 (I posted these a while back):

Volume 1:

Volume 2:

Volume 3 was written and was available as a rough copy - not in the polished format of volumes 1 and 2 :)

5001 (which is what i own) is timetracker. a 2-screen, two-dial product. #5002 (which mars correctly pointed out) is timetracker screen, a 4-panel, 4-dial product. #5004 is the add-on set i referenced earlier.

LOL, looks like you should have bid on 5002 as well :)  Now that it has been identified, the next one will jump in price significantly.

Stratochamp,

I might let you have a closer look at it at Gencon. 8)  However, Smarmy1 has made me sign a blood oath to never take it out of the shrink.

They seem to either fly under the radar for cheap ($30 or less), or hit the $75-120 range.  Doesn't seem to be too much in between, from my recollections.

WitW I've seen all over the map, but never that cheap.  But the Weapons Compendium... I don't remember the last one that came around.  Was that you as well?

I just love finding those really cheap BIN's right after the seller lists them.  You just know the seller is thinking to himself "Damn that sure sold fast.  I probably could have sold it for twice that amount!"

:D

Not me... sadly. $15 for Weapons Compendium is more than a fun find, it is a huge find. IIRC, the last one sold for something in the $100-150 range.

Strangely, he still lists his items at very low prices.
