I was missing a Shadowrun item, one of the limited 3rd edition prints, and I come home and there, on my desk, is a little package with a note saying "happy anniversary" and inside it was the same thing I needed... so, I am very pleased to have it. Yay!

*scratches one more item off the ever-growing list*

Do you have any links?

I have never seen a listing for any Dimension Six Module sell at $20.
And have never seen either of the two Doctrine of Darkness Modules or Temple of Athena go for less than $25.

While I agree none are on the 5 of 5 Rare scale, they do not come up every day.
Especially the Doctrines and Temple of Athena.
And the Temple of Athena is one I rarely see listed at all.

I already had copies of The Complete Fantasist and Furioso and one other item many dont think of.
Character Record Sheets Pad (Complete with no missing sheets).

As I understand it; The Town of Joundan was never published.

I was able to obtain my copies from Waynes Books for around $15-20 apiece.  Also, a couple of these items are on ebay auction right now.  I have two copies of The Town of Joundan.

eBay listings

I got Furioso for $17+, in mint condition.  I got the first Nine Doctrines of Darkness in fair condition for $3.95+.  I paid +/- $10 for Mountain of Mystery and Town of Joundan

Here is Temple to Athena on Amazon:

http://www.amazon.com/Temple-Athena-Adv ... 90&sr=8-35

Another copy of Temple to Athena sat on Amazon for more than a year at $12.95.  That is probably the same copy I bought the other day on Ebay.

I can't remember if it's Joundan or Jourdan.  Anyone?

Probably Joundan.  Anyway, here it is on Amazon:

This is probably the same copy of Town of Joundan listed on AbeBooks:

Mountain of Mystery on Amazon:

Here are both Nine Doctrines of Darkness modules on Amazon...although not at as good of a price:

Well, I stand corrected.
These things are as common as dirt.
Guess I will just toss em out now...  8O

More likely it is just that collectors were not generally aware of what was out there.

I passed on The Compleat Fantasist at 99 cents a couple of times back in 2004, when I thought they were junk and did not know about the entire Dimension Six line.  Now they cannot be found.

Thanks to lokiwookie for posting this auction (in the interesting items thread). I wouldn't have noticed it otherwise, and I happened to be looking for a reading copy of The Complete Warlock. I ended up placing the only bid so I got the lot for $10 (+$18 shipping, actual was $17). As lokiwookie guessed, the CW is worn (loose cover) but all pages are thankfully present.

Finally picked up a pair of DragonTooth giants after, oh, about 25+ years ;)

These two have a lot of that old-school charm and personality found in late 70s/early 80s sculpts, especially those from Mssr. Loback's workbench.

I was also pleased that they didn't set me back in the pocketbook - they were in a lot of 13 giants that works out to be $3 per giant.

Those interested can read about it on my blog: http://theleaddragon.blogspot.com/

All the giants save Big Meg are currently bathing in Simple Green, as I ponder their new paint schemes.

That's a pretty fun find, but I'd say the discovery of a non-1st print of Tarantis would be even funner.

CoC 1E 1st - psyched to have that checked off my list!

Arrived this morning - some browning of a few sheets, but overall looks to be untouched for the last 30 years.  I'm fairly certain the dice are even original!

I got a couple of early Christmas presents for myself:

Warlock's Tower

** expired/removed eBay auction **

I really love the cover artwork for Warlock's Tower and so far has been a pretty interesting read.

Book of the Dragons

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... EBDIX%3AIT

This one almost doesnt belong in this thread.  In my opinion it is not very interesting at all.  Artwork is average to bad and the content is blah.  I can only assume that this book's rarity is only because very few people bought it after leafing through it on the shelf.     Whoever owns The Infernax, Thieves Quarter, and/or Tower of Elbrith from the same company please tell me that they are of better quality (since they are all on my want list).

And from what I can tell the seller decided to use Ian's scan directly from the Afterglow2 site.  My copy looks more like the one Noble Knight is using.

Does anyone know if multiple color covers were used by Attack International on some of their books?

Most of these books (book of **blob**) are not interesting at all. Most of non-TSR stuff is not interesting as well. But their rarity lead to high price for most of them :(
