He should have lead with the inferno. It was pictured inside the listing, but the main photo was the black and white lightelf.

I'm very pleased with the purchase of this nice set of Aliens minis boards:
** expired/removed eBay auction **

I've also recently snagged a signed Castle Zagyg East Mark Gazetteer, which was a nice surprise (just $31).

Well, thanks to davidc I was able to identify what a 1st edition Kobolds Ate My Baby! looked like and then purchase it. Also bought an expansion for it called More Things To Kill And Eat! which should prove a fun add-on.

Nothing high-and-mighty, but collecting is also about the fun. And for me, this is fun.

The pair was around $20. Maybe too much for some, but just right for me since I wanted them.

I'm glad that worked out :)

Begs the questions though, what does a Second Edition look like...?

Picked up Unspeakable Oath 1 (1st print) and Stark raving mad at Malc's booth at Spiel Essen. Both were signed by J. Tynes and from his personal collection. Pretty stoked about those.

and I also picked up the L5R 4th edition ltd edition version in German (200 copies).

Well, this aint the "Great Bargain Found" thread so I guess my recent Fun Find qualifies.

Four hard to find Dimension Six Modules all in one listing.

I already had a copies of two of them but was never able to obatin copies of the other two until I won this listing.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... MEWNX%3AIT

MOUNTAIN OF MYSTERY # 1002 1980

THE TEMPLE TO ATHENA # 1003 1980

THE NINE DOCTRINES OF DARKNESS # 1005 1980

THE SECOND ADVENTURE THE NINE DOCTRINES OF DARKNESS # 1006 1981

The total price I paid was higher than I had hoped to pay, at just under $25 per module (including shipping).

But not terribly bad and it was worth it to me.

All are in very good or better condition with average shelf wear.

No writing, marks, or rips/tears inside or out.

Bottom line is that I finally have the items from Dimension Six that I had wanted for so long.

Fun find for me anyway.  8)

Another recent fun find:

Something I did not even know existed and when I saw it listed I knew I had to bid on it.

I was fairly certain it was at least rare so I was afraid to post a link here...

Anyway; I placed what I thought was a low feeler bid, but I ended up winning this item for much less than I had bid.

At the time, I had no clue I would end up with not just a fun find but a huge bargain as well.

I recently learned from other members here that this item is not just uncommon, but exceedingly rare.

One person wrote that there are only seven copies known to exist!  8O

The Dwarven Glory Map Index Booklet.

No NOT the adventure booklet which is far more common (yet still rare) but the Map Index.

What about Furioso?  A Dimension Six item I don't see on your list there....or did you already have it?

I need to get better copies of those Nine Doctrines modules... mine are all hole-punched and beat to hell, but I paid like $6 for them, so I don't care at the moment. Got them to play them, if they're any good.

Actual prices on the Dimension Six modules are quite a bit lower than the theoretical prices currently offered on Buy-It-Now.

Check Amazon and look around elsewhere.  No need to pay $40.

You should be able to pick up all the Dimension Six modules at around $20 a shot. None are particularly difficult to come by.

I was missing a Shadowrun item, one of the limited 3rd edition prints, and I come home and there, on my desk, is a little package with a note saying "happy anniversary" and inside it was the same thing I needed... so, I am very pleased to have it. Yay!

*scratches one more item off the ever-growing list*

Do you have any links?

I have never seen a listing for any Dimension Six Module sell at $20.
And have never seen either of the two Doctrine of Darkness Modules or Temple of Athena go for less than $25.

While I agree none are on the 5 of 5 Rare scale, they do not come up every day.
Especially the Doctrines and Temple of Athena.
And the Temple of Athena is one I rarely see listed at all.

I already had copies of The Complete Fantasist and Furioso and one other item many dont think of.
Character Record Sheets Pad (Complete with no missing sheets).

As I understand it; The Town of Joundan was never published.

I was able to obtain my copies from Waynes Books for around $15-20 apiece.  Also, a couple of these items are on ebay auction right now.  I have two copies of The Town of Joundan.
