Hi Jeff,

Lokiwookie and I had a big T&T discussion a few years ago. Buffalo Castle 1st through 3rd prints are indistinguishable (as far as we know). Deathtrap Equalizer 1st print is stapled. The one T&T 1st print I am missing is Deathtrap Equalizer.

Congratulations on the acquisitions and see you in 10 days!

And to complete Strato from my copies and my notes of this discussion, 1Pr 2P and 3P are both 1976.
The 1st print could be without spiral bound (my copy is three hole punched) and the 2nd and 3rd could be spiral bounded (I have 1 copy from 1976 spiral bounded) since 4th print from sept 1977 is spiral bounded. So this copy could be 2nd or 3rd print, not first. But... no certitude about that.

For the dates and for who cares:
1Pr 2P and 3P both 1976
4P sept 1977
5P ?? (I am missing it)
6P Jan 1979
7P Sept 1979
8P Dec 1979
9P Feb1980
10P Apr 1980
11P ?? (I am missing it)
12P ??  (I am missing it)
13P Oct 1980
14P Feb 1981

I believe this is the first print of the T&T rulebook.  No idea where I got the scan.

Thank you Foul, Lokiwookie was specifically discussing copies of Buffalo Castle.

And here's my last Fun Find from Saturday... the last I'd seen one was on ebay in 2012.  I'd been looking at least that long!  So when it popped up in my saved searches, I was very excited to have another opportunity to bid.  It arrived here just yesterday (great postal service from the UK!):

I draw the line at collecting... D&D beach towels.

And? :D

I once found 5 copies of the 6th edition CoC rules listed on their web site for $0.00 and they did fulfill the order! :D

Very cool, Dave---you'll have to let us know what you think of it, after you've had a chance to read a bit :D

I dropped out on that one to focus on the The Beholders and Spectres zines, which I'm hoping will arrive soon!

Allan.

A little too dependent on dimensions, directions and dice rolls for me to call it a winner.  Choosing north/south/east may have it's place, but without foreshadowing and context, the decisions feel dry & lifeless.  Solo adventures struggle I think to deliver consequences from choices.  It had some moments of zany, but not enough suspense to feel like an adventure to me.

The art however is excellent :)

Cool find Mark!
Is this a publication, or a magazine?
Does it have fantasy content, or is it all science fiction? It looks like it has fantasy content...
Who was the publisher, and what year is the copyright?

Thanks Mark.
My wife won't be happy with you for necessitating that I add something to my want list :-)

The resemblance to JRRT's Smaug on the back cover is noteworthy:

I saw you crossed off a few items from your list the other week so good to add another one.  It is more product than magazine.  Here's the table of contents.
