Ok this one is really obscure to me. I recently won this module:

** eBay auction listing blocked.  Please enable cookies in your browser for this site and for eBay! **

Well i got it today and found that it is a module for the F. P. A.  rpg... Apparently the module has been issued before the rules (in the foreword the authors writes that the rulebook will be sold very soon).

Has anyone ever hear of this game? Has the rulebook been issued or not?!

Thanks and ciaoo

Great find. Never heard of it before. Nor about Abbeta RPG.
Did you read the module? Is it good?

This stuff is obscure, not good.
The rulebook was printed, along with one other supplement called To be a King.

Never heard of F.P.A. RPG, what is it? My Google-Fu is not up to the challenge apparently.

Not sure what "F.P.A." is referring to, but Abbeta was a game according to the RPG Encyclopedia (Rpg Encyclopedia | Role Playing Games | Tabletop Games) and a guy posting here: Small Press Games of the Eighties - Story Games.

According to RPGGeek "Magic and Monsters" was a later version of this game (Fantasy Gaming | RPG Item | RPGGeek), but although it's definitely by Hackett I am not convinced it's the same game; this is clearly fantasy but Abbeta was SF. It was presented in a book called Fantasy Gaming, apparently, and Hackett also published the very similar-sounding Fantasy Wargaming: Fantasy Wargaming | Board Game | BoardGameGeek

Never heard of that company before but you definitely did score, saw in the solds that a similar one sold for $75 plus shipping about a week later. Looks like that company did a half a dozen or more accessory type of things for Generic Gaming, very cool. Congrats on the score and thanks for the knowledge.

they were included in the auction. i didn't care about the companions product

Not really a big score to most people but as a avid collector of Attack International products I was quite pleased to find this (one I haven't seen in awhile) unpunched and in the original zip

Found a cool set of Tunnels & Trolls today,

They are all first prints (I think) (the rulebook is 4th edition 1st print) and I got them locally :)

These will replace  the non 1st prints I have of the same titles

Hi Jeff,

Lokiwookie and I had a big T&T discussion a few years ago. Buffalo Castle 1st through 3rd prints are indistinguishable (as far as we know). Deathtrap Equalizer 1st print is stapled. The one T&T 1st print I am missing is Deathtrap Equalizer.

Congratulations on the acquisitions and see you in 10 days!

And to complete Strato from my copies and my notes of this discussion, 1Pr 2P and 3P are both 1976.
The 1st print could be without spiral bound (my copy is three hole punched) and the 2nd and 3rd could be spiral bounded (I have 1 copy from 1976 spiral bounded) since 4th print from sept 1977 is spiral bounded. So this copy could be 2nd or 3rd print, not first. But... no certitude about that.

For the dates and for who cares:
1Pr 2P and 3P both 1976
4P sept 1977
5P ?? (I am missing it)
6P Jan 1979
7P Sept 1979
8P Dec 1979
9P Feb1980
10P Apr 1980
11P ?? (I am missing it)
12P ??  (I am missing it)
13P Oct 1980
14P Feb 1981

I believe this is the first print of the T&T rulebook.  No idea where I got the scan.

Thank you Foul, Lokiwookie was specifically discussing copies of Buffalo Castle.
