I'm not familiar with the item to the left of assassin's quest, what is it?

That's a UK zine called Hyperactive #3, short on rpg stuff, lots of nonsense, a couple Tolkien reviews and some b&w fantasy art.

I draw the line at collecting... D&D beach towels.

Shoulda been: ".. from Pangreenia to Floratopolis, from mystical Treeonia of spectral Forests to Schruborial dimensions." - The Forests of Leng

Not sure if this constitutes a recent fun find exactly, but I found a link on FB that pointed me to the chaotic henchmen website - they reprinted RJK's Dark Druids and I bought it.  I love the CH format and design (I try to mimic their layout with my work) and will pretty much buy whatever they put out.

How's the product itself?
Good? Is it an exact reprint or are there some differences?
Just wondering if there are similarities to the Pacesetter/Wee Warrior reprints.
Thanks!

PS: That's still Guy Fullerton, right? He does put out some fantastic stuff.

It hasn't arrived yet so I'll update this when I get it.

I have their other books and they are consistently produced; if you haven't seen their multi-page web thread on book design and layout, you should read it!

Their website does say that the book has updated material and illustrations but is close to the 2002 and 2006 versions *EXCEPT* this version is for 1st edition!

That was linked in the other thread I believe, and I will do that!
I actually got (very humble) help from Guy many moons ago when I asked him about layout when I was helping out with Dragonsfoot publications.
I can't wait to read the thread.
Be well, and thank you Thom!

I'm not a huge Judges Guild collector but I did grab this.  Still in shrink.  Can anyone tell if it is an original shrink wrap?  What is it worth?

Looks like a 3rd/4th print in the original SW.

Apparently $8.00. :)

Probably around $75-$100.  I think you did better than that.  Good snag.

I picked this up the other day, not really a big deal to some collectors, but to me I was quite happy with the price and product. The only other example on ebay is up for $99, so I think I made out ok

and

I don't think that I've seen that version of Creatures & Cultists before....

CM has dropped in the last couple years.  That used to be an easy $300.  By process of elimination, that must be the convention only version of Creatures; I've never seen it before either.

Nice pick-up! If they had used the word "Cthulhu" (as in Call of Cthulhu) they would have picked up another few bids I reckon.

Even spelling Creatures right wouldn't have hurt.

Oh, I though Greatures were some sort of Lovecraftian horror...  ;-)

An Acaeum member on this one?

** expired/removed eBay auction **

I am very interested by more informations about this book. I didn't bid a lot since I am not sure that it is a RPG (I was afraid it could be a wargames/miniature game).
