Not a D&D-related project, but since it involves a game (Warhammer 40K), gamers, and a good cause, I thought I would post it:

An interesting project has been launched by the 40K community: a bunch of painters/bloggers have banded together and are building a Storm Wardens army for Warhammer 40K. The premise is simple - for every $1 you donate, you have a chance at winning what promises to be a VERY cool army. But perhaps the best part is that the proceeds will be donated to http://www.doctorswithoutborders.org/. What can I say? The miniature gaming community rocks. Read about it on a variety of blogs:
