Hello,

I'd like to see (and certainly bid on) an item and I have the following message from ebay on the webpage:

ebay wrote:Unfortunately, access to this particular item has been blocked due to legal restrictions in some countries. We are blocking your viewing in an effort to prevent restricted items from being displayed. Regrettably, in some cases, we may prevent users from accessing items that are not within the scope of said restrictions because of limitations of existing technology. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause, and we hope you may find other items of interest on eBay.

Does anyone know how to access the item? I tried on ebay.com, .co.uk, .co.au, .de, etc, and everytime the item is blocked. I guess that it is the French IP that is blocked by ebay...

You may need to route yourself through a proxy or anonymizer.

I was thinking about this, but would like to avoid to use proxy :(

Or, you could get a real person proxy.

:D it is a nice solution. I am sure that several person would kindly do it (faro already offered to do it, and I frequently "used" smarmy as proxy too, thank you very much guys, and other that offered too).

I finally use the TOR solution. It works

But I am still wondering if there is another solution. It is very strange that ebay blocks some items. Is it only in France? Or other countries too?

I'd half expected that to be another Nazi T&T module. ;)

Good call! Not as though that's seen /much/ more often, Mark, save for the odd cheap copy that vanishes within the hour.

No Nazi, nor Stalinian (nor Napoleonian?) items right there, only few bondage items that I want to use with some other French collectors

I did not post the link because I am pretty sure that Mark would bid on it :D (but I am pretty sure too that he already spot this item...)

Ofttimes the line between hero and villain is a fine one with overstepped bounds.

Perhaps I should be paying more attention to who's sniping across Le Pond.

Your after the Superbabes aren't you!  If it is, I have those 3 already - I think I bought them from the same seller a while back.

Near... Bullwinkle and Rocky :) for bondage it is always better with animals. We have some nice examples in the French collecting community.

It is true that I didn't post for a while, but I am still reading the forum...

But I am sure you were talking about some one else...
That is probably the brokeback mountain's effect.
