do you think that the critical/fumbles tables which appeared in "Different worlds" issue #34 are good/interesting tables for AD&D?

It says: "The ultimate tables for critical rolls". Judging from the title, it seems they eventually solved this dilemma.

I never had the chance to read this article, that's why i'm interested to know your opinion.
