Sealed With A Kiss: Magic Kisses in AD&D
written by Rick D. Stuart
a one-page article:
The theme is that a 'kiss' can take the place of rings, scrolls, etc. as the mechanism to trigger a spell.
Required: the Spell of Kiss Transferance.. a 4th level M-U spell... a secondary spell that allows the primary spell to be stored then delivered to another person within 24 hrs... the primary spell is dormant until triggered by delivering a kiss upon the target. The required material component is a drop of human blood (plus the original mc of the primary spell, possibly a ring, scroll, etc).
Format: Place oneself within a magic sircle, recite the appropriate incantations, press the material component to one's lips (transferring in reverse), a drop of blood seals the deal... then delivering said lips to a target delivers the spell.
The fine print: one spell can be stored at a time, 24 hour time limit, saving throw allowed at -3 (unless kiss is 'blown', insert pantomime of make-eye-contact-raise-hand-and-blow here)
Altogether a pretty clever little write-up
