Maybe we should all email eBay to ask why they don't apply there own rules?  Think they might do something in this case if they get enough hassle?

I have just emailed eBay about the PowerSeller status of the_game_emporium.

But I also found the following information regarding PowerSellers:

Q.
How is the 98% total positive feedback rating calculated?

A. The rating is calculated each month by taking the total number of Positive feedback responses and dividing them by the total number of Positive and total number of Negative responses. You may see a different % positive feedback number in the Seller Information Box in view item pages since it is calculated based on unique positive feedback.

I presume that eBay will also reply with a link to the same page. :x

So, if you make sure that all your buyers of multiple items are satisfied, then you don't have to be too careful about all your buyers of single items.

That doesn't seem quite right :?

Yes, but even using this 'not quite right' procedure he has currently dropped below 98%  - 96.4% to be exact.
So he'll lose the Powerseller status any day now.

It would be difficult to determine if he intentionally screws over certain people. However, there is something that I could do:

Determine just how satisfied those satisfied customers truly are. If someone posts positive feedback a week after the auction has ended, it is safe to assume that the item arrived in a timely manner. However, if feedback was posted 4+ weeks later, then the person may have left feedback simply because they do not leave negative/neutral feedback as a rule. I'll start collecting some info on this aspect and report back. Another thing I may do that would be even more long term would be to note all of his auctions and then track each and every one to see how they come out (not everyone leaves feedback...and maybe I should even email those that do not to see what their experience truly was).

Wanna make a guess what he'll sell this for:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 85934&rd=1

It's not that it sold for such a low price and I didn't bid on it (even though I had it on my watch list), its the guy who won it.  Especially by sniping.  The GE tried to snipe me out of a SW Fez I (blue cover) a week ago but I sniped him right back.

BTW, my guess is $1000

Arrrrghhhh!

Nothing wrong with sniping.  It usually keeps the prices down if you put your bid in at the last second.

Anyhow you should have bid, you could have paid $120 on that lot and still made money parting it out, especially on the second set of books.

Nothing wrong with Sniping.  My apologies as I'm guilty of doing it also.  I guess I was just looking for another reason to gripe about this guy.

Who wants to ante up modules and bet that he doesn't pay?

I was after the same items.  But pitched my snipe too low.  Still would have won if not for the GE.

Another one that got away.

Come on, now, who would create a fake eBay persona just for the purpose of buying, and not paying for, extremely overpriced items from a seller who took 2 months to ship an item to him/her that was supposed to be shipped Priority and was shipped Media Mail without delivery confirmation, which was also paid for? No one would go to that trouble.

Unless he's bipolar.  From his posts here and his actions on eBay it wouldn't surprise me.
