Deadlord suggested that it would be interesting to see who in this forum has certain rares. So here's your chance. Brag or boast...

I have a mono (convention prints) C2 and Lost Caverns. Both are registered here on Acaeum. After that, the fall off is pretty steep. I have pretty much every TSR produced module from 1979-1986 (+/-), and most are first printings. I was really active in gaming so I bought them immediately as they came out.

My major gaps are Orange B3 and Lost Shrine (convention print).

And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!

First Print WoodGrain Box with First Print contents.

After that... just normal stuff... Haven't collected WeeWarriors or RPGA or Convention modules yet ($$$).

Someday!

Tamoachan (soon)
3rd print woodie
Tsojconth
All of the Wee warriors stuff (including Dragonlord)
True 1st print Greyhawk supplement
Dragon #1-22
Dungeon #1-20
Rahasia
3 Chainmail 2nd prints

Too much more to list, I suppose that is the cream of the crop. Though Kalifax is one of my faves, never seen or heard of that one before.

Still kind of regret selling Fazzlewood. I'll pick up another someday. My Chainmail 1st went to aneoth, Character Archaic to grodog, 2nd print woodie went to richseye, who resold it, along with Tamoachan and DM's Inverness. I was, of course, told they would never be resold. Hehe.

I'm sure that's when you saw burnie had the Skeleton Warrior Halloween Costume (in box).
The primary hole in my collection are the limiteds of Inverness, Tamoachan and Tsojcanth.  I've got most of the "standard" rare stuff that burnie has but they certainly have some near-unique items.
I've got an ST1 on the way as I type, which will fill a major hole.
And I've got a D&D beach blanket!  Woohoo!

Yep!  Along with the Dungeon Hobby Shop catalog/package.

I dont even know more than half  the items you guys listed are. :)

I think what really gave me the best  rush so far was my shrinkwrapped purple Basic D&D set since that was my first TSR item ever.  Ill be really happy when I get my expert set (which has eluded me still & was my second TSR item ever).

Recently got the DM screens combo pack still in shrink and a never opened Basic set 5th release from 1979.

I dont think I will get as heavy as spending $600 or more on a module though.  I wasnt a big D&D player and never went to conventions etc but i did have some fun times with it and love the artwork.

"What can I get for $10?"

"Mint Rare and Shrinkwrapped-just pick that bar of soap up for us pls, we love you long time!"

Now Paul has a massive collection, I'm sure.  I don't think he's missing much, which probably explains his "swords bright" optimism!

Bought an Orange B3 (SW) off Paul a while ago  :D

Also picked up a 3rd print Woodie (complete and in excellent condition) from someone else a little bit after that.

*best Charlie Brown voice*  I got a rock.

I am clueless.  What is the deal with Bob Blake versions (I'm especially interested since a guy named Bob Blake was the guy who got me into D&D in the first place.  I'm sure it's not the same guy though)?

I really wasn't even sure what I had until I found this group.  My only rare item is Palace of the Vampire Queen, 2nd printing and it does have 24 pages printed on one sided.  I saw a post indicating a copy on eBay had three hole punches in it.  Mine does too, and I think I got it that way from the Royal Guardsman (retailer for Heritage Models) in 1977.
