As somebody surely has noticed, in the Classified theme there is an 'ad' of mine. Yes, I have decided to quit from Classic D&D collecting, reverting back to be a simple player. I have decided this because, during one of my periodical 'life assessment' nights  :D , I wondered about the reasons I own all this stuff I don't read and I don't use for gaming. The answer was: no reason at all. I don't read them, I don't use them... I have decided just to keep the various editions of Classic D&D, the original AD&D hardbacks and some sourcebooks (for example, AC 9) and modules (T 1-4), selling the rest. This is not saying I'm tired of games: I still enjoy them! However, I'll chase items I have some use for (AD&D modules) or I consider funny to read (for example Paranoia items, they are cheap too!). Of course the magazine and the site will continue, but my collecting days are over. It has been fun and interesting, but now it's time for me to move on other things. But I'll still hang around here

Putting your collection to use in a game is one of the best ways to enjoy it, IMO, Sotterraneo!  :D

I agree with grodog. At one time I was a collecting junkie (anything TSR from pre 1990). I now just grab the occassional 1st edition/basic D&D module or supplement; mostly for casual reading.

Hope you stay active on the board! Your posts have always been insightful. :D

And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!
