I have it. It's OK.

If you hit a Rowsdower, you get to keep it.

The Scourge of Worlds DVD is okay.  It's really only good for a couple playings before it gets old.

Has anyone watched The Gamers DVD?  It's been advertised in Dragon a few times but I've been hesitant to buy it.  It sounds a bit goofy, but who knows...

The Dungeons and Dragons cartoon is coming to DVD?

Do you have a link for that one?

It's good to see it finally arrive on DVD!

Does anyone know of promo videos/DVDs for any of the GenCons?

I would be curious to see any of the tournaments played there.

I'm unlikely to get to one in this lifetime (lottery win not withstanding).

I have The Gamers DVD and let me say this:

It's Goofy.

It's Ultra-Low-Budget.

The acting is so-so.

The special effects are not THAT special.

BUT, it's hillarious if you've gamed for any period of time.  This was a movie made FOR gamers, not just a spoof of gamers (like the Dead AleWives piece).  There are lots of 'in jokes' that non-gamers would not get at all and the rules mongering and how it plays out in the movie is very funny.

For 20 bucks, you can't go wrong.

The Scourge of Worlds looks interesting but I'm waiting on that as I'm pretty sure I'll be picking it up at a Con Swap meet for 5 bucks this year sometime. (not pirated, just that someone's going to be sick of it by then).

I agree on The Gamers dvd and they are making a sequel.
Has some commentary tracks etc...good release.

Scourge is fun, but is a short lived high.  Buy one for the gaming group and pass it around  8)
