My name is dewberry and I started play D&D back in 1994. I started playing 2nd edition with my oldest brother.  In my family D&D is pasted down for the the oldest male sibling to the youngest of the six of us. Back when I started I played once a week for about three or so years. After that I took a break untill 3rd edition came out and then I got my group back together, and we were so excited about the new D&D edition we played sometime all week. We had some good campaigns one lasted about three years in real life. As our characters developed in that campaign so did we as players. I have been playing a total of about 10 years or so I have most all the third edition book as well as many second edition. This is the first forum I have ever joined so hopfully it will be pretty cool. Peace out.

Well hello to you all.
I am 30 years old and have been playing RPG's for the better part of my life now. (LARP, many many systems and even MTG).

It all started when I was at bording school - my room mate introduced me to D&D. That was back in '87. Strange enough I haven't touched the game since I graduated in '90. Untill now.

I just recently started buying D&D products - and frankly it has become an obsession with me ;)

Anyways - I'll get you a few scans of some scandinavian products soon :)

I was in Copenhagen last week with my girlfriend! We had a fantastic time there. I didn't find any good RPG shops though  :x

Thank you for the warm welcoms :)

killjoy32 did you have a look at Faraos? Sadly alle the small good shops have closed the past 5-10 years.

I look forward to my time here (may it be long and enjoyable).

Brian,

to be honest.... i didn't really get that much chance to look. It was my girlfriends birthday, so i had to do all the things she wanted to do *sigh*.....although that Ripley's believe it or not museum was hilarious! will go back there again sometime and see some more and maybe get a train to Malmo too!

:)

Al

Let me know the next time you are comming to our lovely little kingdom and I'll give you a few pointers.

Both on where to go as a couple and where you can conveniently "deposit" your girlfriend near a Game store ;)

Is that the one that sells rubber swords, axes, shields, etc?  Two floors?  Used AD&D and OD&D items on shelves in the front near the cashier?

Hey, at least they have a gaming room upstairs in the back, if I remember correctly.

I have some friends in Norrebro who took me there last time I visited.  I used to live in that neighborhood myself (Norrebro).  On Korsgade.  But that was back before the "byfornyelse" movement had cleaned things up too much.  Pretty damned interesting place to live, if not the safest.

Thats right - they have.
And oddly enough used by both MTG players AND RPG folks too.
At least thats the way it was the last few times I stoped by - but I can't tell for sure since I live on th emainland and not on Sealand where CPH is :)

Are you from Denmark as well?
