Finally registered on the Acaeum - been lurking for a while.   I started playing AD&D in high school back in the 90s - mostly Greyhawk.  Played some Planescape in college - haven't played any D&D since.

My interest in D&D these days is in the fantasy art - I still love the stuff.   I have a few paintings that were used for cover art & always keeping my eye open for original art that was used on Greyhawk modules/sourcebooks.

I look forwarding to chattin' with you all.

Welcome danull and chainsaw.

I collect a bit of art myself.  I have a Horsely, Deterlizzi, Frazier, Pavelec, and my newest is a Easley and Szczudlo collaboration.

Thanks guys. Not that I expect you to remember, but you might - I'm Donovan from NTRPG Con 2010. I think I played in a few games with both of you, but I can't remember which ones.

I remember the name.  And yes we did play in some games together.
Will you be making the con this year?

Sadly, no. I had planned on coming (and even registered), but later found out that my sister's getting married that same weekend.  Thanks sis!

I do indeed remember, and saw you post elsewhere (the NTRPGCon forum?) about the wedding.  I still think you should have insisted she get married at the convention.  I'm sure Doug and Mike could have fit something in between the raffle and the auction.

And if you're ever in the Chicago area, the offer still stands.   8)

Hey Chainsaw!  I remember you from the Con as well.  Good to see you here!

Thanks Lucy! I still remember your super strong map of grodog's Castle Greyhawk, a real treasure.

Bracton - Will do! I'll actually be in Chicago in a few weeks (mid June) for business, but just up and back for a Cubs game with some clients, so not enough time to game. I will keep your offer in mind.

Also, you're right.. she needs to get married at NTPRG Con.

Two things.

Paizo is currently (28/05/2011) selling a lot of old games at the MSRP from the nineties. This includes a lot of Ravenloft stuff and some Judges guild odds and ends.

http://paizo.com/store/sale/americanEagles

I thought you might like to know.

I am hoping to trade my remaining 3.5 materials and Dungeon magazines for D&D minis. I posted on Paizo.com to this effect, but it is not really where people go to trade things. I know that this site is more geared to classic TSR collectables, but at least it is a trade site.

I posted the details of the trade I propose here:

rpgmarket.webs.com/apps/forums/topics/s ... ?page=last

I will cross post it somewhere here.

I have a trade at:

A site that desperately needs members.

Welcome Taliesin Lucifer Hoyle!  Yeah, these kinds of posts really only belong in the Classifieds Section.   Also, you aren't going to find generous enthusiasm for 3.5 or D&D minis on this site.  If I might be so bold, you'll find more interest on other sites like dragonsfoot.net and others.  8)

RPG’s, D&D in particular has had a major influence in my life. It’s bonded me together with life long friends...it’s that bond in life not just as friends, but in our jokes, our mannerisms, and what we find funny. Invincible Overlord

ENWorld would probably be the best spot.

DF's really (or at least supposed to be) TSR-era.

Thank you for setting me straight. I will post on enworld, and I will even brave the WotC forums to post there. I did not know that enworld allowed trading.
