There is no such thing as light or moderate collecting.  You come here...you become obsessed...you collect.   You stagger through the city streets with other infected game walkers, looking for the living who have game publications to sell.  You moan and pound on doors where game dealers have barricaded themselves.  You lurk the dark shadows of Ebay, grasping for modules.  8)

It's too late for you now.

FormCritic... I do like your style sir. I most certainly do. Yes indeed.

I appreciate that (takes a small bow)... it came out better than I thought it would, to be completely honest. Nevertheless, I suppose he did turn out pretty cool looking huh?

... ya know, that cigarette was the hardest part to paint.

Welcome Shottglazz.  We are getting near our limit of Canadians.  As far as "meet/chat with some good people" the Acaeum cannot help you with that. 8)

Actually, quite a group of Canadians here.  Just off the top of my head we have Blackmoor, Mars, PaulKM, davidc, Shottglazz and others I cannot remember.

By the way, if things hold true to form you will soon be outbidding me in auctions which is what the rest of the Canadians do.

Yeah, it almost seems like we've pegged our sense of self-worth to a rising dollar. Every generation or two we start coming out of our igloos and acknowledging our interests and existence, joining forums and outbidding our  fellow eBayers and being downright noticeable!

Also Deimos, g026r, and a few others come to mind like Netrodent and Grayson who I haven't seen around for a bit.

Welcome Shottglazz.
There are many threads here worth checking out. You'll find the collector's here well informed.
Glad you've joined.

Hello evryone. i have a number of old dungeon magazines and one dragon magazine from 1995 to 1999. there's a total of 15, including all the series for 1998. is there anyone interested in these, and what would your offer be for them?

Hello.

There is a Classifieds section in The Acaeum; you should post there. I suggest also putting up some pictures so buyers can see what you're offering.

Though I gotta tell you: some of that stuff is fairly common, and collectors here are mostly into rarer/older stuff. But good luck!

Hector.

Already done. Thanks!

Hello All!

I've been using this site for info on my own collecting for awhile now and thought, "hey, why not join the forums?" so here I am.  I've been an avid gamer since '94 and a hardcore collector since not too long after that.  Looking forward to contributing what I can to this community.

Cheers!

HBKnight

Indeed!  Welcome!  We're a real nice crew until we're not.   :?   But whatever you think of us, you won't find a better place to improve and understand your D&D collection.  Thanks for introducing yourself.   :)
