It depends if you count every Guydrin_avalon's ID or not.
If yes, then we are a dozen, if not, then we are half a dozen.

Not sure that French Canadians would like to be considered as French ;)

Hello! My name is Hector and I live in Puerto Rico. D&D collecting is new to me. I am 42 and played a lot of PnP in my teens and early 20's. About a year ago, I came across my old D&D stuff in a box and sold it all on eBay. It really surprised me that it had such a following. Poking around, I found this site and, I gotta tell, it's got me hooked! So I'll 'see' you around

Welcome here, Hector.  This is a good place to catch the collecting bug.

Been watching and lurking the site for a couple years now, and finally registered for the forums.  I recognize a bunch of names from ebay, and may have even bought stuff from some of you.

It looks like I fit the average here - I am 40, been playing 1E AD&D since 1979, and collecting somewhat seriously since about 1990.

Welcome Serian.

RPG’s, D&D in particular has had a major influence in my life. It’s bonded me together with life long friends...it’s that bond in life not just as friends, but in our jokes, our mannerisms, and what we find funny. Invincible Overlord

Hi there... I think my story is pretty typical as well. 33, been playing various flavors of D&D and AD&D since I could read the rules. My game of choice is DMing the Forgotten Realms in a hybrid type system of what I consider to be the best of 1E and 2E. I'm doing a little more "collecting" lately now that I've finished a basement game room/man cave. I'm interested in items related to the 80s and 90s era Forgotten Realms and general TSR related artwork.

I'd have to say my most prized collectors item is the original painting from the back of the 1987 Forgotten Realms box I acquired from Keith Parkinson in 2000. This image always had a special place in my heart as a DM running games in the Realms. Now it hangs over my poker/board game/rpg table for as long as I have breath in me to game! :)

Welcome pdogg77,

Nice painting!!!

Good luck on the FR collecting.  Lots items to get.  I have a fairly extensive FR collection that set me back quite a bit of money.
