I'm new to the forums, but not to AD&D collecting.  I've been collecting 1st & 2nd edtion modules and minis for over 10 years now.

More recently, I've been into collecting OOP AD&D Ral Partha minis that will help me fill gaps in my large miniature collection.

I also paint these miniatures on the side for my bi-monthly AD&D group.

See you on the forums!

Ooooo!  A miniature man!  Welcome indeed! :)

Wait!  That didn't sound right.  I was referring to your interests, not anything else.

Since everyone were kind of touting their rarest item in their collection in their intros, mine would have to be my Remorhazz AD&D Ral Partha still in the blister.  I've seen these go for insane prices on Ebay. Snagged one back in 2000. The other would have to be my TSR Silver Anniversary Boxed Set still in the shrink that I picked up at Gen Con 1999.

Gotta love our crazy hobby!  :)

Hello, I would like to introduce myself i am Tim Wagoner and i am new to the Fourms at The Acaeum but have been Using it for Quite a few years for my collections and selling but really never noticed this part of it. I have been Collecting and Playing D&D since 1977 and Started Buying and Selling as a Dealer at many Game conventions in California and Nevada starting in 1988-1996 when i finally i went Legit With a Brick and Morter Store but still do Conventions alot. I have in my store over 7000 Used games books and Modules and i fill lists that people send me for items they are looking for. In 1998 i stared buying and selling on Ebay and after a few years i finally Opened a Ebay Store with the same name as my Brick and Morter store Wagoner`s Miniatures & Hobbies. I have about 200 or so items on there at most times. Eventually i would like to get my whole store on there but that would mean i would have to do more work(me Lazy Fat Guy). Well i have rambled enough Just like to say thanks for haveing me here and hope to talk to more of you. If you have any of those Lists you would like me to try and fill you can email me here [email protected].

Thanks

Welcome to the Forums, Tim.  I see that your eBay store has a mix of used gaming items.  What are some of the unusual or valuable RPG items that your brick-and-mortar store has bought?

Welcome Tim!

Glad to see you made it to the forums. :)  I've won at least a few of your  Ebay auctions over the past two years (mainly DCC x.5's ;)) and have always been impressed with the quality of the item and excellent service you have provided.  Thank you and glad to have you here.

(Nice job, Benjoshua... I think this one might decide to hang around after your warm welcome.  Not so sure about the others.) ;)

Hello Mrs. Cleaver, Theodore.

Hi Tim! Welcome to the forums. Good to see you at Dundracon - you'll be at Kublacon I presume?

Hello everyone...

I first started playing DnD when I was ten or eleven. My cousins were big into it, and it rubbed off on me in a big way. I kind of got out of the whole role playing thing in my 20s, but recently I've been on quite the RPG kick. I love the old TSR games (Top Secret was a big favorite), but have fond memories of Aftermath and Twilight 2000 as well.

I don't have anything all that obscure or rare in my collection, so I think the coolest items I have are the surviving adventures I made as a kid. I still have a very extensive dungeon I made for ADnD, and most of a Gamma World adventure I made when I was 14. What can I say? I'm a pack rat.

Be careful, Bowman1.  Benjoshua is definitely infected and you certainly don't want to catch what he has.  Also, never, ever try shrink!  It is an addiction for life. :)

Welcome aboard!
