Is this the best anti-sniping method?

Seems Ebay is happy to end auctions early. Is this new?

You could always end auctions early if you wanted to.  You would pretty much be an idiot to do so because most auctions seem to be won in the last few minutes.  This one in particular may have gone for much more cash than $100.00. :o  :o  :o  :o  :o

I emailed the Seller to asked why he ended the Auction early.
Here is his reply

Bob,

I am sorry about that as well.  The guy at game_emporium told me this would be for his kids birthday present, what was I gonna do... I am a sucker at heart for a good kid story  -true or not.

Sorry that we could not do business together.

James

For his kids  That is crap.  The guy is a reseller and he knows he can turn a profit on it.  What a liar.

Ouch!  I smell a public excoriation coming on ...

(I started a thread on this exact issue, and yes, it sucks - it happens when the buyer knows more than the seller and tries to con a deal by depriving honest bidders of the chance to finish the auction.)

Uh guys.. My 2 year old son has a cold and it's his one wish in life to have a a shrinkwrapped copy of 'To The Aid of Falx' and all Wee Warriors products.  UNfortunately, I can only afford $20.00 for his present.

I swear.. it's for my kid... Honest.. .No really.

Who's gonna help a brotha out?

The best way to deal with this is just hold onto the link for the original auction, wait for the game_emporium to resell them, and then e-mail a link to colecraftsjewelry of the resulting H1, H2, H4 auctions.
