A signed one sold for $85 at NTRPG con this year at the auction. I figured i was being extremely optimistic at $150 for the one i have up...

That looks sketchy - the photo provided wasn't a photo taken of the actual book, but of an image on a screen.  Weird.

that's true. I didn't even zoom in on the photo. I thought the lighting was weird with the white around the edges of the book.

This one was a riot too when you look at the condition and whatever the seller is talking about a "Lizard Edition"

"Best price on eBay!"

"Great condition pieces and dice all here. Minor wear. Dice chits never used."

not sure what they smoke up there in Rhode Island!

Oddly enough I have a throwaway 1001 box, completely trashed, but in the lower left hand corner of the box top was a line drawn lizardman logo. I had no clue what that was, but I knew it didn't make the ripped, corner busted, moldy box worth 500USD.

Maybe it is that rare, never-been-seen edition that was translated into the lizard man language.

I sometimes wonder if things like this aren't part of some elaborate money laundering scheme.

think about it. That really is a bargain price if the real price for that book is $17,854.20

... keep in mind who's selling it

... Half Price Books :!:

it's worth more than those silly Domesday Books  :D
