I wondered how long it was going to take for one of these to hit eBay.  They were only available to the people who signed up for the "all access" 5th edition games, where that's pretty much all you really could do all con.  They weren't available for purchase by the public.

I did the all access pass morning track and had plenty of time to do other things at the con.  It really only ate up 10-12 every day for other activities since there isn't that much going on from 8-10.  Was nice to get the monster manual and open it up to see all of the signatures inside.

That's good to know.  When I looked at the schedule, it seemed like the all-access pass would fill up a lot of time.  I do think it was a good idea on the part of WOTC to make signed copies of the Monster Manual available to the people who paid big money for the pass (and only to them).  It should definitely help build loyalty in those gamers.

I will post more on it later, but I did play a 5E game at Gen Con.  I like the system quite a bit, and this comes from someone who never played second edition, much less 3.0, 3.5 or 4E.

I also got into the "all access" part of GenCon this year. I did not notice the autographs, until JimK pointed them out to me. That lead me to the idea to have others sign it (thanks to the forum member who signed it). No way is my copy going anywhere now, I have Ed Greenwood's autograph on the "Creeping Claw" page.  :D Not sure if it make the book more valuable or not.

not a silly price...but I'm shocked that someone would sell something that looks so much like it has mold in the book! Seller does state that the Dungeoneer's Survival Guide has water damage, but why on earth would anyone bid on this? 6 photos in.

Hmm, good point I didn't really clarify but I knew I had several. A check of the list on my phone (not at home) I have 6 altogether. Two of this S2,WG4 combo, 2 of the D3, S1,S4,S3 combo, one of the L1,L2 combo and one of the D1-2,EX2 combo. Oh and the Gamma World Box set one. Still looking for the rest but never at this price!

Got a bit of a blink when that popped up on the search here and sold pdq. "Bagged" another buyer paying over the odds?

Okay, the last one of these I bothered to follow ended, as I recall, somewhere in the $30s. This one's currently $56 with a few hours left. This'll screw the valuations methinks.  :P

Seriously?  I normally toss these into a lot with NPC sheets, DM log, rogues gallery and a basic book to sell for $15-$20.  I should check the valuations a bit more.

I think it's because you can see "ACAEUM" in the clouds on the cover artwork.

Looking at the picture, their idea of "mint condition" must refer to the fact that there are mints inside the box. For that price, hopefully they aren't stale mints that have been in there since 1981.

they would be "vintage" mints in that case, no doubt justifying the price.
