nev has it right and I find it quite amazing how we all seem to have most of the exact same symptoms (Well perhaps not so much amazing as quite fascinating).

I am definitely firmly entrenched at stage 8...

However, I have yet to make the leap from buyer/collector to seller, or worse re-seller. Although it will not be long before I am shedding extra items to make more money for those items mentioned in category 8 of nev's list......

Right now, I cannot make the jump from a bit too expensive to just plain silly insanely rare to the point of mind bindingly don't even think of telling the wife expensive.

You can go through the I have to much stage and start selling, then realize WHAT HAVE I DONE!  I DO NOT NEED THE MONEY THAT BAD.  Then re-buy all that stuff for more than you sold it for!

But that never happened to me :D  :D  :D
