And one of us won it, congrats to dbartman!
What happened to pitttbulll and the other new big bidders?
The price it went for is quite reasonable.  I thought it was going to go for a new record in the $1,500 range.  I guess one never knows...

It wasn't shrinkwrapped.

The reserve was $850. I know the seller.
I'm surprised it wasn't higher as well. I told him I expected it to go for $1,200 or so.

Thanks for the congrats.  I've been looking for this for a long time in NM/M condition.  There just have not been that many of these show up through the years.  I think the price was just right.  Of course cheaper would have been better, but, I'm happy to get it period.  I had expected it to go much higher, based on the current trend in the market, in which case I would have been out of the bidding.

As far as pitttbulll and the other ebayers like him, I haven't seen them going for these types of items yet.  Maybe they haven't realized they exist, don't have an interest in them, or already have one and are just filling in the gaps in their collection...

Perhaps pitttbulll doesn't realize yet that this one never came in SW;)

It doesn't seem like the type of item that pittwire would be interested in. He'd pay $950 for a shrinked L1, possibly..........

Congrats to dbartman :P

But I think the real focus might be the price staying below $1K. Although, that is just plain some serious cash...

Well, I gotta get back to work wraping all my modules in celephane so I can sell them to that pitt-guy...

And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!

Thanks everyone.  I'm looking forward to getting it.

Oh, unfortunately my wife is a shrewd Italian and they are not known for blond hair...
