Now that Palace of the Vampire Queen auction is an interesting example
of an item where lots of people from these forums put in a bid :
eBay.com Item Bid History

Wonder what would happen if we implemented a fake bidding war on
these forums and then whoever 'wins' is the only one who puts in a bid
on the real item and thus gets it for cheaper... :-)

Did one of us win?

I only bid because I wanted to outbid burnie for once... I knew it'd never hold. :)

I just threw a bid on it to watch where the price would end up. I would have bid at the end if it was under $75. :)

BTW: Anyone know why the "Lair of the Spider Mother" sold for $32? Is it that rare? I personally haven't seen another sold.

I can't remember seeing one sold either, I was outbid in the last 16 seconds by eyeamgawd, reason I bid so high was condition, I personally like the non-tsr D&D stuff, and there is less and less for me to get that I don't already have (oh and the aussie dollar is extremely strong against the US$ at the moment too..;)

I haven't seen another LotSM ever, other than my pre-press copy (traded to Mike Kuo for Warriors of Mars).  It's an OK adventure, and I was willing to pay some $$ to see the real version, but not that much :D
