This is the same girl who brought home a Wee Warriors surprise from the $1 bin at the supermarket.
I almost asked her to drive back to work and get the box, but I suppose that is a bit greedy.

Okay it's no NM brown box but it's an earlier print than my original:

Too bad about the written name, though.

Update on the other box:

A ton of the common modules. A lot of them seem to be 1st prints. Nothing extraordinary. I was hoping for a nice covered Jade Hare, but I think that's being just a wee bit greedy.

Congrats, Paul;

(very nice late OCE, SW'd B1, Greyhawk minis, etc.; $150)

Outbid me by $20, but given that you just beat a certain "creep" (who's now apparently machine-sniping rather than manual-sniping), I'm definitely not going to stress any! ;)

This weekend I went to the flea market in San Jose and was wandering around with the wife and kids. I stop to check out some stuff and I see some CD's so I take a gander at them. Dragon Magazine Archive  8O .  I do quick look through and make sure they are all there and lo and behold they are. By now I'm thinking real fast, how much am I willing to pay for them. The vendor comes over and I say how much and he looks at them and say $2.00 for all of them. I about wet myself then and there. So I now have the archive for a fraction of what Ive seen them going for  :D . I love hitting the flea market.

This was dirt cheap. I have been hunting this one for ages.

I had my eye on that at the time, but I decided not to bid due to the fact that I had my hand on several other things at the time and I didnt want to over extend myself anymore than I already have. :roll: Either way though, I would have pushed you much higher that that anyway. :wink: Nice win though. :)

Guilt-free bargains?
Well, that one certainly wins on the inside rail from the deal Al got on the disks earlier. Well spotted, indeed.

Hmm... think I might've rounded that up to >$10, though, so that his shoeless kids didn't go hungry that evening... ;)

The Deities & DemiGods is the 144 page variant.  Got for an average cost of $4.  Does have some condition issuses but overall "good".  The Dragon issues are in the area of Issue 26 to 69 with an overall condition of "very Good".  These are my first issues of Dragon.  I am enjoying them very much.  The cover art is extraordinary.
