I seem to remember a certain Warriors of Mars that went for $60.00 not so long ago.

Hmmm, I think it was $100, was it not?  Of course, my memory is slipping, so I can't be sure.

Looks like you were right, although you had at first agreed to buy it from the seller for $40.00:

Arse!

IIRC it was in pretty good condition too. The most recent that Mike<mdr003> won over top of me went for $270.00 and it was only in Very Good conditon. :) Then of course there was the kreepontheborderlands one that that one guy that came overtop a pretty obvious shill bidder to win that one for $450.00.

Yes it was. And the final price was ~$40 as originally agreed (noted before on that thread Arse! • Collecting General •  The Acaeum).

The seller honored the agreed ~$40 deal, yet had to pay PayPal fees on $100+. :(
Would have netted himself another $120 or so if he'd remembered to mention that volume when selling his inventory in my direction (the source of my 1st Chainmail, amongst other items).

Which is a major factor in why Mike had to pay so much, due to that mental shift in prices...

The contents of the book may be worthless but the cover art is worth the $7.50.  One of my favorite pieces that TSR published.

That's $250 of OCE for a start, plus a minimum $75 for the Basic set... *squints, trying to read*

*opens second-last package*

Good grief.... *falls over*

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 5293325971

1st GW MM, 1st PHB and (bizarrely) a revised DMG; $9 !!!

Exactly as described following my queries, even though I hadn't expected the responses to be accurate.

I think I'd better send the seller some more money.... :?
(They even undercharged on postage. :()
