I felt certain my snipe would win

$120-140 sounds about right, IMHO; Guidon Games' Tractics by Reese & Tucker with Gygax

Paul's Guidon set I pushed to $140+, IIRC (as opposed to the $71 Mike guessed last time ;)).

I doubt a woodgrain set would go for as little as $50 in VG+ condition very often, since I've seen wargamers willing to bid well above that mark if they spot it.

Meh.... What did I say? :(

Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

Mount Celestia doesn't want me and Baator's afraid I'll take over.

So what happens when the Spanish Inquisition meets the B17 Flying Fortress?   (Oddly enough, I bet y'all expected that one.)

Look at this offer...

Ad&d Lot: Dungeons & Dragons | eBay

And you can read (about invisible ink module)

"I do not have the special pens, so you can't even highlight new areas in the modules (DO NOT USE A NORMAL HIGHLITER! It will NOT work).

The good news is that you can read all of the text (whether it's already been highlighted with the special pen or not), with an ultraviolet light. I have a small handheld light that I got from Pet Smart for detecting animal urine, and it works great for this use. A second alternative is to do a Google search online. I know of one web site that has listed all of the hidden text for Maze of the Riddling Minotaur, and a second web site that's working on Blizzard Pass."

Who like to detect animal urine :?: :?:

Everybody here have his own tools for detecting animal urine? So strange.

Hmm...does that mean that the ink in the "special" pen is really...eww!

Not too bad at all :)

What was the shipping though? I find that often kills the value of getting a good deal on big stuff like boxed sets :(

11,90$ :)

9,90$ for the surface M-Bag and 2$ for handling/materials. I hardly ever bid unless there's M-Bags and cheap handling involved.

Hope this at least partially makes up from your previous problem Martin. :)

I reckon its a Games Workshop printing. Notice the colour of the sides.

It beats the reply they sent to me

hi it has on the box 1001

So, it's a 2nd or 3rd print. But sounds incomplete unless the "other paper" turns out to be the M&T. :?

It did turn out to be M&T :D

And the set is a 2nd printing :D :D

Box is dished with one split corner. But contents are very nice :D :D :D

Just curious on this one...was "the question" posed to the seller or was the BIN already in place? Either way....a real score for demios. Congrats!

My Holy Cow, more relates to how old that auction is. That sucker is over 3 months old, how the hell did you find that? :o
