Wizard of War: Games | eBay

I can guarentee that you would not have gotten that at that price if I didnt have to have to go out of town on an emergency this weekend.

Heh. Thanks, Brian. Any particular edition you're looking for? ;)

Hadn't expected to get away with that rather low bid, but was probably still eclipsed by the GW Basic set at $15; http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 230561833; and three fine condition OD&D supplements without printings stated at $46 (due for a round-up, that, if so... :?); http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 5229952611.

Going back further, very fresh copies of Star Probe/Star Empires at $18; http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 212623593; and a sound GK 2nd Greyhawk at $31; http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 5210789315 (I still suspect there is no GK non-T1st, but have to keep pushing on that to find out).

For some reason Authentic Thaumaturgy isn't particularly wanted in the UK (1st print Burnie Bros. copy, VF, $43; http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 5221326058.

And by some fluke I also managed to lead from the front on a very decent OCE box at $56; http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 5225886181.

The covers of the books aren't aged like the seller thought; they're just that further variant I mentioned on the other thread. Actually rather minty and the seller only wanted $13 for airmail shipping (refunding from their original quote when it came in less than they expected).

Still some decent people around who won't gouge an extra $5-10 if given half a chance. :)

    I loved this line:

"The dagger has been in storage for quite some time and the box has suffered from some wear and tear. Despite this the blade is still classed as new as it has never been used or displayed."

As if display would damage the blade.  And "used" for what?

My friend owns this very dagger.  He bought it at the Highland Fling in Monroe, Washington about four years ago for $25.

It wouldn't even open a letter, it is so clumsy.  However, if the target would hold still you could bonk them with the pommel.   :D

Hopefully it will be in better condition than my current one, which is pretty hammered. :)

Not a huge bargain, really, but I had to crow anyway, cuz I've been hoping to get one of these for a while...

I've seen 1st ed MA's go for upwards of $50~60. So I feel good that I got it for $34. Of course, shipping is rather... extravagant. Oh well.

Boo!  I'll get you for that.  I had the minimum and a safety snipe on that bugger!  Just kidding.  I already had one in very good condition so you can keep that piece of trash.

Yeah, damn nice snipe there Robo.  You got that kingofpain89 guy right before the buzzer.  Did he think he could win with just $33?  What the heck was he thinking?  Must be some kind of Ebay noob.

Oops. Sorry... My max bid was um... well let's say it was somewhat higher than the price I ended up getting it for.

Next one's yours. I promise! :)
