Real Nice 1st PRINT Greyhawk folio.  Top has a little wear and the upper right hand corner is dinged a little bit, but other than that its almost perfect.  I think that the only times that the maps were ever opened were when the seller took this picture. :D

hmm... that is a nice copy.
You don't half pounce quickly, do you? :P

Prolly even better than the one I picked up recently, if a little bit pricier (depending on how you split the $);

Sweet one Clarkie! You were in the right place at the right time. Notice it was only up for just less than 7 minutes. Again Congrats!  :D

Well it arrived today. And I've got to say that the booklets look much better than the pictures. :D And I'm not sure what she meant when she said "They don't really smell bad - but they do smell like they are 30 years old!"  They smell like paper to me i.e. pretty odourless.

And one of the Strategic Reviews mentioned in the Q&A has a postage stamp and address. First one I've seen. Not that I've seen many.

So, now I have my old 3rd print woodgrain (with box) to sell. :wink

Will sort some out.  The books are quite nice.  But the box is VERY tatty.  With generous use of masking tape on every edge and corner.  But at least its a box.

Okay, today was a banner day in the Clark household as I had couple packages arrive in the mail today. First off, check out these 2 they have already discussed a little bit in the Interesting items on EBay thread, but they came today:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... %3AIT&rd=1

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... %3AIT&rd=1

Now both of those modules are almost perfect, which made it a pretty nice day. But then I opened the big box. The big box contained the real "FUN". A couple others already know, 1 who I actually beat to the punch and 1 I told already privately. Now check out what I won 2 Friday nights ago in the wee hours of the morning. I will preface this by saying I paid a total of $570.00, but make sure you are all sitting in a chair before you click on the links lest you might fall over and hurt yourself.

Lot #1

Lot#2
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 5212532783

Lot#3
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 5212499602

Lot#4
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 5212468106

and the one you need to make sure that you are sitting down for, Lot #5
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 5212529085

Needless to say I was very happy when I got home from work today!! :D :D :D

You lucky lucky bastard!

And you didn't even have to ask for a BIN.

I, of course, would have let the seller know that they had undervalued the lots and offered more.  NOT!

Mine lost all of its value because I covered it in clear contact paper.  I used to do that to protect everything I used.  Looks great, until you get close.
