I have taken the time to check those box sets out from time to time. You'd be amazed at what people add to them. Of course, I have never got a jade hare...damn it 8O

But it is a great candidate for jade hare, afterall, it came out at the same time and uses that D&D Challlenger system.

And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!

Here's one for the newbies:  How to get sniped 101. ;)  Though technically "wayol5" outbid me with 6 hours to go.   Mark my words, one day one will slip through. 8)

Didn't see that one at all. Just said to John that I was looking for one of these. Now I'm pissed.  :D

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

Ian,  I did post it on the interesting items thread:
Interesting Items Formerly on eBay

It's the only thread I take a thorough look at right now.  But the posts quickly build up and its easy to miss something. :?

Another one will come along. I'm still waiting for the Greyhawk gems of the Rob Kuntz collection to be posted, though. Need to keep back some cash. And I'm happy it's in IO's hands. Just a tad less money to outbid us all with. :D

That said, I'm sure what IO wants IO will get, and maybe only Mike (improvstone) will have something to say about that.

Aww... no D1 as well? (Just as well, phps, given my pointing other ppl at D2 & D3 ).
I didn't bother to ask(!), but still a nice pick-up for sorting into sets. :)

Thanks.  I still hadn't worked it out.  £1 did seem very low. :D

Just got back from the 4 week old party.  Orson (he will always be Genghis to me) stayed in with Kathleen's sister and we went out for beer and curry.  Although I seemed to do most of the beer drinking.  But the babysitting doesn't extend past our return.  So, I'd better get my head down and sober up.

I was after an H4 to complement my Bloodstone line, ended in a bidding war over an H4 in France and bailed out when it was at 55 EUR - and look at what I've found today with a cool little BIN:

Nice find! 8)

Wait till you read the 100 level pre-generated characters on the back page. 8O

Enjoy...

I have been picking up some good deals recently.  *<points to recent non-tsr fun finds thread>*. Here is some other nice pickups:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... %3AIT&rd=1

Reindeergamez actually did much better with that seller than me. He picked up Undermountain Box Sets 1 & 2, Supermodule S1-4, Ruins of Myth Dranor Box Set, and about 10 Forgotten realms books for like $30.00 with Free Shipping. 8O

Oh, and before I forget to mention it here is one of better finds of all time:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... %3AIT&rd=1

Most of the books are in really solid condition. The Cthulu Deities and Demigods itself goes for that much sometimes.

Damn, once those are broken up and sold for $10+ each you should make a fortune!
