Ah... there you are! Welcome to the forum, Shane! :D

Yeah, I just sat there and stupidly waited for a response from the seller regarding shipping and the supplement printings.
Was sorely tempted to hit BIN several times, on gut instinct.

If they'd posted a pic of the actual items for sale they'd've made a lot more $ from that sale.

p.s. If the "Dungeons & Dragons" logo on the front of the box is somewhat blurred, it would go just as well with a (later) 4th- or 5th.
If it's a fine, clear print, would love to know!
(Am presuming there's an address label stuck over the stock list at the back of M&M, too. Yes?).

(Oh, and thanks for making me pay through the nose for those Tac cards, too. ;))

*tries to clear email backlog...*

*meh*. Just noticed I picked this one up, not having expected to have been within a mile...

At this rate, my SW'd UK S1 is gonna be worth about $5 flat. :(

Don't know how many of the offers I've had forwarded came from here.
Is now claimed and going nowhere in a hurry, anyhow...

Recent 1st MM purchase; pretty decent condition, but with some light foxing and shelf wear, slightly exaggerated in the (trimmed) scan.

In this case, however, I'd rate that degree of shelf wear as a positive, given the inscription inside:

i.e. Aside from being a very early "presentation copy" to one of EGG's "recommended authors", was almost certainly used by Andre during her writing of "Quag Keep"; a plus point, IMHO.
Think that might also explain a thing or two in the book, but will have to dig out a copy to check!
(No correspondence present with the MM, alas. Would have to ask Gary. Hrmm....).

Not a "major" Norton work, perhaps, but certainly has it's own little niche in D&D terms.

The sad side is that the MM was sent from her home town the day before she died, back in March ().

Is a very nice "keepsake", though, as are a few other non-RPG books I picked up from her "library" at the same time...

No doubt this would have gone for more with better responses to questions and an appropriate picture....looks like you ended up with quite a deal there, Shane.  ;)

Not sure what somewhat blurred would be, have nothing to compare. Box is torn at one corner though. Address label is stuck at the back of the first book yeah.

Tac Cards    No thanks to you for sniping     Next time they shall be mine, next time!

Advertising? Would not the average person take one look and move on?

I don't know, I think DL is right...$500 for a "wow" seems a little high.  Maybe in Amsterdam... 8)

10 cent listing day again (I suspect that is Draco's Motivation).

In fact, I'm about to post some more in the classifieds myself.  8)
