Think this is an indication of where the money is nowadays with TSR products.
Dragons #1-12 would have been just a tad more than $84. :(

Allan's $50 mark would've been ideal given that I've now got some "spares", but there was one other serious bidder.
(And by serious, I mean I've looked at his other purchases! *blinks at the $ total*).

I gave it a shot ;)  So, are the Little Wars magazines cool/interesting?  Do they support the TSR wargames, or like The Dragon are they more general interest with a wargaming emphasis (i.e., not a house organ yet)?

Hi Allan -

Little Wars was very general interest. From what I remember, there seemed to be very little TSR content and most articles were on general history and wargaming in general. Quite a number of issues had Gygax articles, usually on minutae such as the 50 different varieties of halberd.

Harami - you say that after that win you now have spares? I'm in need of #7... if you have that one duplicated, let me know.

Here's a recent fun find of my own -

cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem& ... 5176621720

Was very happy at that price.

Regards

Mike

IIRC, I got mine from Aaron Leeder @ Noble Knight for about $15, but your copy looks to be in nicer condition (I love the map!) :D

Thought someone here would have noticed this one:
cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem& ... T&rd=1
Best $8.50 I ever spent!

Second look:   8O
Nice one!

Eh, thats what my thoughts were exactly. Then I took a closer look  at the picture and BAM, Jade Hare. That seller was so clueless he didn't even listed as an item, and he basically camoflaged it behind another book. I think that I am going to be sick.

The cover wasn't there but I am going to e-mail the seller to see if he has it.  Hopeful

I did notice the seller was from Brescia, Italy.  I just figured there were multiple forum members from the Dallas area, might be a few from his home town as well.

I have bought items from this person before. He lists some nice stuff, he is very easy to deal with, and is very reasonable with SH too. 8)

You know what the worst part of this auction is, now I feel compelled to check out everyone of these stupid a$$ box sets, whenever I see them up on EBay.

You ain't kidding, in a paranoid fit I went through my copy of the box seeing if maybe one had been there, even though I've never SEEN Jade Hare!  8O
