I am unsure how impressive this really was, but I picked up some earlier mags including many that I did not have....

*nods*. Listed that one on the "interesting items" thread with a comment about the JG "value pack".

Some fairly decent Dragons in there. Was the condition as good as it appeared?

(And did you manage to do a deal on the shipping?)

 Yep...shipping was only $10 and nicely done.

I would guess that none of the books were read. I peered inside and everything is intact with no writing/markings. The spines were TIGHT!!! I doubt they were even openend. A few are in shrink and some of the Dragons were in plastic baggies....

I would grade them from NM to VG at the lowest....   :D

My condolences. I've been a Pats fan for 28 years.

hey John/Dave

that PHB softcover came today - damn nice condition all told! bar for that tear at the top of the spine, which believe it or not, isnt actually as bad as it looks! the spine is very tight, the cover pretty smooth and bar for the slight musty smell from his storage, the book is great!

very pleased with it!

actually got a bargain for a change - not playing it up to much tho - running with this while i am on a roll :)

Woo! Just received a near mint* set of TRACTICS rules! The seller wasn't originally including the pullout sheets (which are sorta necessary to play the game), but the day before the set arrived, an envelope with all 25 pullouts came. The box came today.

*the books and pullouts were all in mint condition but three of the box corners were ripped.

I wanted to wait until I got this one to post it. Condition was amazingly good. Might want to add their spelling as a search. Having seen it in person now I can see how someone who might not know could make that mistake.

Christ, that is almost closer to armchair than it is to archaic.

*blinks*. wow....
How not to sell rare items.

Noticed they've still got a few nice items (goodness knows how/where they store everything!), but an almost random pricing structure.
$40 for a stomped-on(?) Wizard Blackmoor?

I've often checked misspellings when I was on the hunt for Call of Cthulhu items.

I hear you there, MrFilthyIke---I lived in Lawrence, KS, and worked in KC, MO for ten years after growing up on the east coast.  We're talking about moving back, and I'm definitely going to miss the ocean again....
