I'd have been like holy shi!!!! I was so freaken Jealous.  He turned around and sold the b3 to a dealer at a convention for $300(he could have got a lot more off ebay)  I'd have given him more then $300.

Yes, congratulations grodog.

Do your copies of the Geomorphs include the Gygax notes that came with them? If so, maybe you can give us a little review of your impression of them, or any interesting Greyhawk related tidbits. I assume you are planning some kind of analysis for your website eventually.

I will, in fact, be doing just that.  None of the original three geomorphs sets have outstandingly-useful EGG notes from a Greyhawk point-of-view, but they're still interesting.  The Outdoor Geos definitely include Greyhawk-specific materials, though they're still pretty generic, all-in-all.

I'm deeply indebted to Paul Stormberg for pointing these facts out in a thread here sometime last year, otherwise I wouldn't have ever known that the individual sets of geos had different sample encounter content at all!

Thanks for offering Frank.  I'm in the process of putting together a trade wish list, which I'll post sometime in the next few weeks, and will be happy to consider offers then.

I saw this with about 3 minutes to go. . . . I really wasn't sure what to bid and revised my final bid 4 times.

Maybe not the best deal, but it's the first time I have seen all four with the mailing covers still intact.

That's 220 cases of cheap beer, or 220 fifths of good rum. Plenty to drink yourself into hallucinating that you DID own the painting.

Hehe, according to the timestamp on one of the pictures the seller is probably a sleepwalker. If the auction was done while sleepwalking is it still vaild then?

Thanks!  A couple of the folders I already have, but I wanted the notebooks and binder.  I'll sell off the extras later on eBay and let you guys know.

Hi all,

Just bought an unpunched NM copy of H1 Bloodstone Pass for a very, very reasonable price, albeit it didn't come with the box.

Anyone got an extra one that they'd be willing to part with?

I'm hoping it's more than it seems.   :? The seller's in WI, at least.

An update on this:
It's clearly a photocopy of a very good condition pre-pub or 1st edition set.  It appears to be complete, with some hideous coloured marker applied to several of the drawings.  If anyone has a scan they'd be willing to send me of a sample of the pre-pub's internal "hard-to-read" font, I'd appreciate it, because I'd like to know what I'm looking at, exactly.

If nothing else it'll be a useful reference if someone needs questions answered regarding the early printing.  The photocopy is very clean, (even the staple lines being very straight) making me think it was copied early in the original's life, or was a later copy of a very well protected, minty original.

A note on copyright concerns, if any:  If WoTC asks me to destroy it, or the Acaeum community in general thinks appropriate, I'll do so.  I was secretly hoping it was some rare hyper-valuable editorial copy or something, but for now there isn't any evidence to support that theory.  :(  For now, I'll put it down to "copied for archival purposes".  If all else fails, I'm out $24 USD.

Is that cheap? I bought a copy of that book in July this year. I checked back through paypal to see how much I paid for it... $6.05. I knew that was probably cheap but not all that much under the going rate I would have thought, as there seems to be a few copies about.

Two fun finds for me in the last couple of days:

cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem& ... :EOAB:AU:6

cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem& ... :EOAB:AU:6

I think Chainmail was about right price-wise (would have been a bargain except for the eagle-eye of Harami, nothing seems to escape his notice), but I was really happy with the price for Minas Tirith.

Regards

Mike
