Nice win! Yes even under normal circumstances 5:30 AM on Sunday morning is pretty safe from the likes of me, but taking into consideration the Friday night that I had that had led well into disatorous results later on Saturday morning(i.e. me reaquainting myself with my old friend Mr. Toliet Bowl   ). I'd say that you were certainly safe from me this morning.

Funny guy. Wants 20 bucks for his Q1, but throws the Dark Tower and Tegel Manor in with some other stuff.

A great set to have in any regards Stephen!   8)

Be a lot easier to pick up a 1st 3rd book if you wanted to complete it as a first then good trade on a 2nd print book.

Dammit, Brendon!
Only a collector would think to turn a genuine set into a chimaera in the wrong box! :D

Excellent purchase, Stephen. Leave it as it is, please, and go get a proper early 1st and the others to go with it. :o

I thought it was already a 'mix 'n' match' set,

Well, the M&M and M&T look like nice late 1st copies and it's not the first such set with a full-blown 2nd print U&WA rather than the variant 1st.
(Unless the seller says "yeah, I replaced the U&WA", I'll have to assume not).

Those were probably pretty much the first books to have been put into a vertical grain box, though, I'd've thought.

I received this one today.  Imagine my surprise when I found that the cardboard counters were included, along with the original pair of ten siders and a crayon to color in the numbers.  On top of that, the books are in great shape and the box is intact with only a few minor flaws.

Looks like you did OK on that one, clarkie.

I have never seen the Lost City module in person.  Is it any good...the picture looks good.

$9 was not bad for an old Dragon.

As requested, here's the product list from my recently-acquired 1st print Men & Magic.  Quality is low, but I"ll try to get another shot in daylight if anyone wants a better pic.

I suppose it's a fair price.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

Were those G1-G2-G3 silver anniversary modules part of the Silver Anniversary box or were they originally sold separately?
