Fairies?  What?  :?

Did you mean series?

The Games Workshop modules have a fairy logo on them.  Its hard to see in the auction pic posted previously.  You can see it a bit better, bottom center, here...

Ah...a GW fairy...how cute....and how totally unlike anything GW has produced in two decades.

T1 for sure has a mono print... then there'd be also B2 mono (don't know whether that version was sold stand-alone or in the basic set...)

I don't believe there was a GW version of the T1 or S2 mono.  The rest exist.  Completing the set is quite an accomplishment, ifearyeti, congrats! :)

I don't think anyone's confirmed the B2 mono's existence at all.  As usual with this sort of thing, I'd be delighted to be wrong. ;)

Um... we did B2 after I arrived in 1980 (I wrote a teeny weeny lil' piece of it), and at that point we weren't doing monochromes at all. So unless a UK version was done in mono, there are none.

Yes, even the pre-production photo appears to be in "color":

B2pre

However, it might be fun for someone here to design a "what if" mock-up of a mono B2 cover?
Perhaps use the Roslof Owlbear from the title page as the illustration...

It also has a single sheet of paper "What The Dungeons & Dragons Game Is All About" by E. Gary Gygax. Does anyone know if this is the one described as:

"Incidentally, a small note on page 2 informs retailers that the "What Dungeons & Dragons Is All About" section was also separately available (presumably to be passed out to customers).  (Thanks to Michael Bivens, Leonard Riotto, and Rhea Shelley for this info)."

I think that's a good price for the lot (especially with the extra unlisted sheet). I had it on my watch list and almost posted it here, but instead I told another member about it who was looking for one. At end it was going low so I considered bidding, but I decided otherwise based on the condition.

That's interesting! I haven't seen that before, so I can't provide any confirmation, but I would guess you are correct. Perhaps you can give a scan to Foulfoot for the Acaeum page.
