Of course it's Frank, because of what's missing.

I will say though, that no matter whose stuff that is, it is in really sweet condition. I am quite jealous. :)

SCORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hubby generously decided to let me have these for $100. What a nice guy!

If this auction is a joke, I don't get it.  What's funny about a fake auction?

Before I read other people's comments I thought, "Hmmm.  This is food for the big dogs...and man is it coincidental that all of this stuff is in one person's collection."

  What's so funny?

Fascinating.  I would have thought it would be something more along the lines of "lamesoundguy".

Well, back down to earth for a recent fun find, and proof us mortals still have plenty of chances to score it big - I bought a collection from someone I contacted via a classified and walked away with 4 boxes of D&D material for $200. What did I get, you ask?

-100 modules  :!:
-A complete run of all main mono modules
-A stack of original edition white box rule books and supplements
-Mint copy of Dark & Hidden Ways w/ mint wrapper and x'd rule book
-Mint copy of Wild Things w/ mint wrapper and x'd rule book
-The Arduin Grimore vol 1
-A stack of Judges Guild stuff (Temple of Ra, City State, more)
-A stack of Theives World Stuff
-A stack of Harnworld stuff
-A stack of RoleAids stuff
-A stack of T&T stuff
-Some weird stuff I've never heard of (research time)
-Every hard back book for 1st and 2nd edition
-Cthulu Mythos D&D hardcover
-A huge stack of softcover books for both editions
-and still more...

Must be over 300 books in this collection. What is that? About .60 cents a book?  8O  8O

I am beside myself, really. I was sad I missed the recent BIN auction on ebay where someone stole 75 modules for $75 + 15 shipping. Now I'm not so sad anymore!!

Not feeling at all guilty, I trust?

(Presuming that was from the original owner or someone who knows/knew them, rather than a reseller).

Faro - why would I be feeling guilty? The person was an active 3.5 edition player, kept certain items he still wanted to use, and even mentioned he looked up some prices online. Seems fair to me. Besides (I'm curious where the crowd falls regarding this one) I don't see my job as educating the masses - I've spent years collecting games of one kind or another and the knowledge I have from that is what allows me to find and buy games. If I profit from that in some way from time to time, so what? I've earned it through my hard work and experience.

Beasterbrook - I will list the weird stuff soon and I do plan to sell a bunch that isn't going into my own collection first.

........................

That lot was supposed to be mine for $100. I must have typed a hundred e-mails back and forth with her and she said she was going to pull the auction. Unfukinreal......
I assure you it isn't me. They SHOULD have been mine, but they aren't....

I have been tracking Red Sonja for a while. Now I managed to win it, but geez, I hate when this happens:

offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBid ... 8783541733

These are the times I regret not using one of those automatic snipers when auctions end early in the morning... I would have saved 20 (Australian) dollars or so.
