Hello all,  I was just thumbing through the Necromican supplement by Erol Otus and others through Fantasy Art Enterprises, 1979. It seems as though Erol Otus was involved in making supplements for use with the FRPG systems before he was hired by TSR, as most of their employees were. This particular supplement is a book of spells with some twists that only Erol could come up with. Of course there are a smattering of nice early EO drawings.  Look to Afterglo's non-tsr site link (in this links page on this site) for cover photo and more info. Adam  Some of my favorite spells:  Spell of Excellent Environment- A transparent bubble is formed around the spell caster. The atmosphere in this bubble is of perfect temp, pressure and quality of air free of viruses and bacteria's.  Gas Cloud- A cloud of gas originates from caster causing fear and confusion among other things.  Thoth Amon's organ request- The mage can call forth one organ from his targets body, which will burst forth from the victim's body and fly into the caster's outstretched hand.  Spell of The Superb Submersible- You can summon your very own eight man submarine.

Erol Otus did many products for other companies besides tsr. He can be known for The Necromicon and Booty and the Beasts as well as the "banned and controversial" artwork on Alma Mater.

Adam---  If memory serves, Erol published his first artwork for The Dragon, and continued to freelance for them and TSR in general, in addition to his efforts in The Necronomican, etc.

Hey Allan,  As near as I can tell the snipet below from Afterglow's Non-TSR List Hosted by Matthias Bock is pretty much reliable. Most of the information on Afterglow is well researched or corraborated. Although I wouldn't be surprised if EO did some freelancing with TSR on a minor level at the same time. The FRP community was awfully small in those days so guys were pretty well aware of one another.   <<<Fantasy Art Enterprises A collaboration of fantasy artists Steve Reich III and Erol Otus, two former TSR employees. Don't be mislead, though, the books below (necromican) were made before Mr. Otus made artwork for TSR.>>>
