Hi All,
I'm selling most of my collection on eBay, and I hope most of it will go to genuine collectors! I have an AD&D Fighting Wheel,
R1
,
R2
, Wild Things, Dark and Hidden Ways, the rare UK printing of the D&D Rules, plus lots of other stuff already listed and more to follow in the coming week. Check out seller name otherworld1.
Thanks,
Richard

I'm always sorry to see an old-time collector have to part with his/her collection. It's a damn shame, and I hope everything works out for you.
Cheers...

Hi again otherworld---
I saw your fanzines up at
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 3165059287
As I'm not familiar at all with UK fanzines (only only minimally so with US ones), can you tell me if any of the ones you are selling contain articles by Gygax, Kuntz, Pulsipher, Lakofka, Bledsaw, Jaquays, etc.?
Thanks!

No Allan, the UK fanzines didn't often have articles from the 'Pros'. They generally wrote for White Dwarf or Imagine. The fanzines were usually home-made affairs containing the usual mix of new monsters and character classes, product reviews, scenarios, magic items and spells, and adventure write-ups. The best were 'Beholder' and 'Underworld Oracle', and 'Trollcrusher' was the closest we got to an 'apazine' along the lines of A&E in the USA. Still, pretty interesting to read, and a good, nostalgic insight into the state of the
RPG
hobby in the late 70s and early 80s over here.

The UK 'zines are pretty interesting, and more coherent and content-laden than A&E. I have a rather large collection of them, and I'd add Dragonlords as another good line. Beholder is arguably the best, though.

Hey Dathon,
I don't suppose you have a spare copy of Beholder #9? I'm looking for one to complete my collection.

I've just about finished listing all my stuff now. There are some bargains to be had, as bidding seems to be pretty slow!
